With the passion and working experience of an entrepreneur, author Vo Thi Thuy Hien - Deputy General Director of Tan Phuoc Real Estate Joint Stock Company - shared valuable stories and life lessons that she experienced during her journey. The book The Miracle of Gratitude not only shows the example of the author's perseverance and fighting spirit but is also a source of inspiration for those who are looking for their own path.

In the book, she wrote very emotionally about her difficult past: “The land that my grandfather gave my parents was seized by debtors, and our whole family had to move. After my second and third sisters, it was my father’s turn to work as a servant for others, drifting to another land.”

Despite all the hardship, Vo Thi Thuy Hien never stopped studying, never stopped nurturing her will to rise up and her burning dreams. She looked back on her difficult past not with bitterness or sorrow, but with gratitude and the spirit to overcome adversity.

With her great efforts, she entered university in Ho Chi Minh City. And with that same will, she gradually entered the business world. Success did not come to her, but she had to find it in a difficult and arduous journey, with strong determination, like when, in the midst of poverty, she still determined that "in the future, I will build a big and spacious house for my mother".

She began her journey in the business world by finding fashion contacts for a European businessman.

“I searched for the addresses of garment companies in Saigon myself, made a long list and asked a motorbike taxi to take me to each place to connect with my friend. At that time, I just thought simply: I connected to help my friend far away when he needed it, without any other thoughts,” she recalled.

With that bright mindset, with the hard work and perseverance formed from the difficult past, she gradually reached success. And when she became a successful businesswoman, she still did not forget her poor past and the lessons from her parents, to practice a selfless lifestyle, always helping others. She helps cancer patients, gives scholarships to poor children, participates in sponsoring orphans during the COVID-19 pandemic under the program "Continue Life with Children" launched by Thanh Nien Newspaper.

The Miracle of Gratitude is the author Vo Thi Thuy Hien’s own story, telling about the ups and downs in life, but this is not a memoir. She shared: “This book is not about me but about the miracle of gratitude that I have been lucky enough to experience. When telling the stories I have experienced in this book, I am extremely grateful for what has come. It could be tears, it could be smiles. But everything is extremely important, meaningful, everything is a miracle.”

In the book The Miracle of Gratitude, Vo Thi Thuy Hien shares profound thoughts on life, humanity, compassion, honesty in business and gratitude. That compassion and forgiveness, as she shares, she inherited from her parents.

“My father taught me to live honestly and kindly... The seeds of kindness from my parents seeped into me and sprouted and flourished,” the author conveys a message about family values and love that are not shaped by material things. “My mother is an example of kindness that I learned when I was young. During the times I went bankrupt, more than half of the debts that had to be paid were not hers. Our family had no money, and sometimes my mother had to borrow money to take care of the family. But the money she brought back was not enough to cover expenses, and when she saw Miss Tu next door struggling and having no rice to eat, she brought the money she had just borrowed to lend her.”

The book The Miracle of Gratitude by author Vo Thi Thuy Hien promises to be a source of inspiration and motivation for readers, helping them to recognize and appreciate the value of life and gratitude towards those around them.
