Norwegian striker Erling Haaland has scored 36 goals in just 35 appearances for The Citizens in the Premier League this season.
Not only did Haaland break Mohamed Salah's record for most goals scored in a season (32 goals) in the Premier League, he also won the "Top scorer" title in the Champions League with 12 goals.
In all competitions, the 22-year-old striker has scored a total of 52 goals for Man City this season.
Despite not scoring in Istanbul, the Norwegian striker still ended the season with 12 goals, four goals ahead of second-placed Mohamed Salah.
The Norwegian striker scored five goals in the group stage and after finding the net against Leipzig in the first leg of the last-16 tie, he doubled his tally for the season by becoming only the third player to score five goals in a Champions League return leg.
He also scored in both legs of the quarter-final against Bayern Munich.
In terms of the number of times he has had a hand in a goal, Haaland has contributed to 13 of Man City's goals (12 goals and one assist), equal to Vinicius (7 goals + 6 assists).
Speaking after winning the Champions League in his first season with Man City, Erling Haaland excitedly shared: "Unbelievable. This is my wildest dream.
I would never have thought of this when I was 22. But it shows that it is possible for a guy from a small town in Norway. I hope this gives hope to other young people.
There are very important relatives who help you succeed today, of course I have to mention my parents. I am very happy."
The Norwegian striker also did not forget to thank coach Pep Guardiola after a brilliant season: "He was really emotional after the championship he just won. Me too. It was a big match, you know, the pressure was unbelievable.
But working with him is really special. We have a good relationship. Being coached by him every day, the best coach in Europe, is just incredible. I'm really looking forward to next season to develop even more."
