For nearly 17 years in charge of team work, Ms. Pham Thi Thuy (born in 1986) - a teacher at Xuan Giang Primary School (Nghi Xuan - Ha Tinh ) has organized many meaningful activities with the desire to bring happy class hours to students.

Working in the field of youth union has brought teacher Pham Thi Thuy a lot of joy in her "teaching" career.

Coming to Xuan Giang Primary School (Nghi Xuan), in harmony with the sound of drums, teacher Pham Thi Thuy - Team Leader is enthusiastically guiding students to practice the rituals of the first meeting of the week. Her voice resonates warmly throughout the school yard, with the guidance of Ms. Thuy, the activities take place solemnly, systematically, opening the new school week.

Talking to us, Ms. Thuy said: “After graduating from Ha Tinh College of Culture and Arts (now Nguyen Du College), in 2007, I was assigned to teach and be in charge of team work right at the school where I was born. Previously, Xuan Giang Primary School had 2 campuses, so 1-2 times a week I had to take a boat to the campus on the "Hong Lam oasis" to organize activities for the students, which was very difficult.”

According to Ms. Pham Thi Thuy, in addition to teaching music and physical education, team activities have brought her a lot of joy. Every week, she regularly organizes flag-raising activities, singing and dancing performances in the school yard, and shares about good books in the classrooms... Through the programs, the enthusiasm of the students is a great source of motivation and further fosters Ms. Thuy's love for the profession.

“To do well in team work, besides love for students, you must have passion, enthusiasm, and leadership skills to attract students to participate in activities and movements. The innocent smiles on the students' faces and their confidence when participating in cultural activities are sources of energy for me to make more efforts in my work. I always hope that every day at school is a happy day for the students, and that the children will be able to cultivate more life skills, especially confidence in front of a crowd,” Ms. Pham Thi Thuy shared.

As the Team Leader, Ms. Thuy always worries, explores, and creates useful activities with the desire to build a happy school, bringing the best educational environment for students. With the consent of the school's Board of Directors, Ms. Thuy has organized many meaningful programs such as: organizing folk dance and folk song festivals for teachers, students, and parents; organizing team etiquette competitions to improve students' capacity every year; organizing playgrounds and experiential activities closely following the topics and themes of the month...

With 17 years of experience in team work, Ms. Thuy has always been loved by generations of students, parents and colleagues for her sense of responsibility, enthusiasm and dedication to her work. Pham Lam Vy (class 5A4, Xuan Giang Primary School) shared: “Ms. Thuy is always close and friendly with students, the programs she has organized are very attractive, useful, and equip us with many life skills. In the recent Provincial Team Leader Competition for the 2022-2023 school year, Ms. Thuy enthusiastically guided me in team skills and etiquette, thanks to which I won second prize in the competition.”

Notably, under the guidance of Ms. Thuy, Xuan Giang Primary School is the only primary school unit in Ha Tinh province to participate in the final round of the "National Flashmob Performance 2023" organized by the Central Council of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.

Teacher Pham Thi Thuy always enthusiastically guides students in team etiquette.

With her dedicated efforts over the past 17 years, teacher Pham Thi Thuy has been awarded a certificate of merit by the Central Executive Committee of the Youth Union 4 times for her outstanding achievements in team work and children's movements. She is also the only primary school teacher in the district to be recognized as a teacher as a good Team Leader at the provincial level (organized in 2018) and many other certificates of merit from the district. The Xuan Giang Primary School Union has been awarded a certificate of merit by the Central Youth Union in the last 3 school years and has always been an excellent strong union in the district.
