In 2024, Lam Dong province recognized the administrative reform efforts of departments and branches in implementing the direction of the Provincial People's Committee. Departments and branches, according to their assigned functions and tasks, continue to focus on perfecting mechanisms and policies on business investment; branches and levels strive to simplify and reduce the time to handle administrative procedures by 20-30%; regularly organize meetings to remove difficulties and obstacles for businesses, promptly handle feedback and recommendations from businesses, etc.
Departments and branches have also actively promoted information and propaganda work on administrative reform, helping to raise awareness, responsibility and increase the participation of people and organizations in administrative reform work.
The 2023 administrative reform index basically fully reflects the achievements of departments and branches in administrative reform in each field.
Results of the 2024 administrative reform index of provincial departments, branches and sectors: Department of Home Affairs ranked first with 92.96 points; Department of Information and Communications 92.46 points; Department of Finance 91.34 points, ranked second and third respectively; the 3 departments and sectors with the lowest scores were the Industrial Park Management Board 86.29 points, Department of Natural Resources and Environment 87.21 points and Department of Health 87.21 points.
For districts and cities, in 2024, localities have made many efforts to direct and organize the implementation of administrative reform work in a comprehensive and effective manner; the assessment results of many criteria show clear changes, the methods of direction, management, innovation, and experience initiatives in administrative reform work have many new ideas, propaganda work is carried out extensively, diverse in content and rich in form.
However, the assessment also shows that some localities have leaders at all levels who have committed violations in performing their duties and have been disciplined; the implementation of administrative procedures is not really good, especially the rate of receiving complete online records and the rate of digitizing administrative procedure records is still low.
Regarding the ranking, Bao Lam District People's Committee ranked first, followed by the following localities in order: Lac Duong, Don Duong, Lam Ha, Bao Loc City, Da Huoai, Duc Trong, Da Lat City, Dam Rong, Di Linh.
In the group of public units, the Provincial Traffic Project Management Board ranked first.

In 2025, the Provincial People's Committee will continue to have strong direction to improve the effectiveness of administrative reform in order to complete the socio -economic growth targets set out at the beginning of the year. Many directive documents related to administrative reform have been issued by the Provincial People's Committee, especially on the direction, operation, simplification of administrative procedures, improving the quality of administrative procedure settlement at the Provincial Public Administration Service Center and at the one-stop-shop departments at the district and commune levels to create the "fastest, most convenient, best" conditions for people and businesses; strengthen discipline and administrative discipline in state administrative agencies, resolutely replace civil servants who are reported to cause trouble and harassment to people and businesses; focus on digital transformation, building e-government and digital government in agencies and units.
The Provincial People's Committee commented that the results of the 2024 Administrative Reform Index assessment of departments, branches, and sectors; People's Committees of districts and cities in the province; and public service units under the Provincial People's Committee are the basis for reviewing and developing plans to overcome shortcomings and limitations, improve the quality and effectiveness of administrative reform work in 2025 and the following years at agencies, units, and localities under their management.
