(Baohatinh.vn) - The People's Committee of Ha Tinh province has just issued an official dispatch agreeing on the policy of admission rate to grade 10 of high school for the 2025-2026 school year to be 72%, according to the proposal of the Department of Education and Training.

This year, non-specialized public high schools will enroll 13,418 10th grade students.

Based on the decisions and official dispatches of the Provincial People's Committee, the Department of Education and Training of Ha Tinh has just decided to assign enrollment targets for grade 10 high school in the 2025-2026 school year.

Accordingly, 36 non-specialized public high schools in Ha Tinh will enroll 13,418 students in grade 10.

Many schools have quite large enrollment targets such as: Huong Khe High School 586 students; Ky Anh High School (Ky Anh Town) 555 students; Nguyen Hue High School (Ky Anh District) 540 students; Mai Thuc Loan High School (Thach Ha) 496 students.

Secondary schools take advantage of time to review knowledge for 9th grade students.

For Ha Tinh Specialized High School, this year the school enrolls 455 students in 13 classes including: 2 Math classes, 2 English classes; Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Informatics, Literature, History, Geography, French, Chinese - 1 class for each subject; each class has no more than 35 students.

For Ha Tinh University Secondary and High School, based on specific conditions (teaching staff, facilities) to determine enrollment, submit to the Department of Education and Training for approval.

The admission method for public high schools is entrance exams, each candidate can register for a maximum of 3 wishes. Candidates take exams in 3 subjects: Math and English are tested in the form of a combination of multiple choice and essay; Literature is tested in the form of an essay.

For specialized subjects: Literature is tested in essay format; Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History and Geography are tested in a combination of multiple choice and essay format. English is tested in a combination of multiple choice and essay format, including listening skills. Information Technology is tested in a computer programming format.

The scores of non-major exams are calculated with coefficient 1, the scores of specialized exams are calculated with coefficient 3. The admission score is the total score of 3 non-major exams, calculated with coefficient 1 and the specialized exams, calculated with coefficient 3.

The 10th grade entrance exam in Ha Tinh will take place on June 3 and 4.
