Emergency hotline announced at Da Nang fireworks festival

On the evening of June 1, the Department of Information and Communications of Da Nang City announced that the City People's Committee had established an Emergency Response Command Center at the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2023.

The hotlines for the Emergency Response Command Center serving DIFF 2023 are 0236.3.777177 and 0236.3.777277, operating from 7:00 p.m. until 30 minutes after the end of the fireworks display on the event days.

Agencies, localities, units and people can contact the above hotline to notify and report situations about accidents, incidents and disasters that may occur during the organization of DIFF 2023.

In addition, the organizers also focus on crime prevention in crowded areas and arrange security forces at some fireworks display locations.

The Da Nang Border Guard's medical force, in coordination with the 115 Emergency Center, has also arranged medical staff on ships and boats stationed on the river, ready to work when required.

Sold out for opening night

Mr. Nguyen Van Binh said that since the official ticket sales started on May 8, more than 80% of the tickets have been sold. The opening night alone was sold out. The number of seats in the stands for each performance is about 5,000.

The opening night of DIFF 2023 will take place on the evening of June 2 with the opening match between Vietnam and Finland. The following nights will feature the following teams: Canada - France (evening of June 10); Australia - Italy (evening of June 17); Poland - England (evening of June 24). The final night will take place on the evening of July 8.
