Announcement of Decision to appoint Director of Department of Agriculture and Rural Development

- On the afternoon of August 7, at the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD), the Provincial People's Committee held a conference to announce the Decision of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on the appointment of the position of Director of the DARD.

Comrade Ho Tien Thieu, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, presented the appointment decision to the new Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.

At the conference, the leaders of the Department of Home Affairs announced the Decision to appoint comrade Nguyen Huu Chien, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to hold the position of Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Lang Son province from August 7, 2024. The term of appointment is 5 years.

Comrade Ho Tien Thieu, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee spoke at the conference.

Speaking at the assignment, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that in his new position, Comrade Nguyen Huu Chien continue to promote his professional capacity, constantly strive, research, learn, and promote his work experience to work with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to successfully complete the assigned tasks.

Comrade Nguyen Huu Chien, new Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, delivered a speech accepting the assignment.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Huu Chien promised to continue to strive to practice and improve his qualifications in all aspects to unite with the department's leadership and the agency's officers, civil servants and employees, determined to strive to complete all assigned tasks.

Comrade Nguyen Huu Chien, born in 1972 (with professional qualifications of Forestry Engineer; Senior Political Theory) has held a number of positions such as: Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Trang Dinh District; Chief of Office of the Provincial People's Committee; Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment; Director of the Department of Planning and Investment; Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lang Son Province, term XIV, 2019-2024.
