Trade Union of industrial parks in the province: Many activities to care for workers' lives

The provincial industrial park (IP) trade union is currently managing 249 grassroots trade unions with more than 57,000 union members. Promoting the role of representing workers, in recent times, the provincial IP trade union has focused on directing grassroots trade unions to mobilize and guide enterprises to properly implement policies for workers according to regulations. Every year, the provincial IP trade union pays attention to supporting the lives of workers such as: Supervising the implementation of regimes and policies on employment, wages, working hours, rest regimes, social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance, labor contracts... for workers at enterprises; the production and business situation and labor relations in enterprises; thereby making appropriate proposals and recommendations. Up to now, most enterprises in industrial parks have implemented many collective labor agreement provisions that are beneficial to employees such as: shift meals, support for rent, gasoline, diligence, child care, etc.

Along with coordinating well in caring for, representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers, the Trade Union of Industrial Zones of the province focuses on organizing programs and activities to improve the spiritual life of workers; encouraging, visiting and helping union members and poor workers and those in difficult circumstances to strive to overcome difficulties and rise up in life. In response to the Workers' Month 2023, from the beginning of May, the Provincial Industrial Parks Trade Union has deployed practical activities to the grassroots trade unions, aiming at workers. Typically: On May 5, the Provincial Industrial Parks Trade Union organized a scientific seminar with the theme "Current situation and solutions to improve the quality of grassroots trade union activities in enterprises in industrial parks in Hung Yen province"; on May 10, the Provincial Industrial Parks Trade Union organized a launching ceremony for the Workers' Month - Labor Safety and Hygiene Month 2023 and presented 300 gifts to 300 union members and workers in difficult circumstances in the industrial parks, each worth 500,000 VND.
