Cang school is located in a low-lying area. During the rainy season, the roads are often flooded for long periods of time. This makes it very difficult for teachers and students to get to school because they depend entirely on boats.

Understanding the situation of students in Cang school, the Labor Union - Youth Union of Quang Tri Newspaper organized the program "Supporting students in Cang area", giving 50 gifts including warm clothes, school bags to the students; giving gifts and life jackets to teachers.

These are gifts mobilized by the Quang Tri Newspaper Union from a philanthropist in Ho Chi Minh City. Through these meaningful gifts, the organizers hope to add motivation and help ease the difficulties of students in the Cang area going to school.

Vo Binh Minh, a third grader at Cang school, excitedly said: “I feel very happy to receive warm clothes and a new school bag. I will try my best to study well so as not to disappoint the kindness of the teachers and staff at Quang Tri Newspaper and the benefactors who have given us.”

Mr. Nguyen Van Huynh, teacher of Cang school, shared: "The school currently has 50 students, coming from Hai Phong, Hai Chanh communes and part of Dien Sanh town. Although it is built in a convenient location, due to its location in a low-lying area, Cang school in particular and other facilities of the school in general are often greatly affected by the weather. On days of heavy rain and floods, students have to go by boat to get to school. The attention of the Trade Union - Youth Union of Quang Tri Newspaper, and benefactors will give more motivation for students in Cang area to be more confident in their studies."
