Dung Quat Economic Zone Trade Union and provincial industrial parks orient tasks for 2025

(Baoquangngai.vn) - Dung Quat Economic Zone Trade Union and the province's industrial parks held a conference to review trade union work in 2024 and deploy key tasks in 2025.

The conference was held on the morning of December 14, attended by Vice President of the Provincial Labor Federation Tran Dai Thang.

In 2024, the Dung Quat Economic Zone and Provincial Industrial Parks Trade Union has newly developed 15,762 thousand union members, reaching 189% of the target; established 5 grassroots unions, reaching 100% of the target. The Dung Quat Economic Zone and Provincial Industrial Parks Trade Union mobilized the "Union Shelter" Fund to submit to the Provincial Federation of Labor over 226 million VND. Surveyed, reviewed and guided 4 union members with especially difficult housing circumstances, and established procedures to request the Provincial Federation of Labor to support the construction of "Union Shelters" with a total amount of 200 million VND. At the same time, the Dung Quat Economic Zone and Provincial Industrial Parks Trade Union mobilized enterprises to support 150 million VND to build 3 new "Union Shelters".

With the theme of Trade Union activities in 2025: "Focus on developing union members; participating in building a clean and strong Party", Trade Unions at all levels in Dung Quat Economic Zone and the province's industrial parks continue to promote the work of developing union members, establishing grassroots unions; directing grassroots unions to regularly monitor and detect positive factors in trade union activities to foster, help, and introduce outstanding union members to the Party for consideration of admission; promoting emulation movements; continuing to implement the Program of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on "Improving the quality of negotiation, signing and effective implementation of collective labor agreements"; Organizing "Tet Sum Vay - Spring of gratitude to the Party" and giving gifts to union members in difficult circumstances, etc.

At the same time, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor awarded Certificates of Merit to 3 collectives and 9 individuals, the Provincial Confederation of Labor awarded Certificates of Merit to 13 collectives and 61 individuals, the Dung Quat Economic Zone Trade Union and the provincial industrial parks awarded 19 collectives and 456 individuals with outstanding achievements in emulation movements in 2024,...
