According to the report of the Department of Finance, the total state budget revenue in the province in the first 5 months of the year reached 12,820 billion VND. Of which, domestic revenue reached 7,512 billion VND; revenue from import-export activities reached 5,300 billion VND; local budget balance revenue enjoyed according to decentralization was 6,814 billion VND.
Many revenue items achieved progress, even exceeding the assigned estimates such as: revenue from foreign-invested enterprises (reaching 112.3%), personal income tax (68.9%), revenue from granting mineral exploitation rights (75.8%), revenue from public land fund and other public assets (83.9%), and dividend and after-tax profit (315%).
However, through discussion and assessment at the meeting, departments, branches and enterprises stated that state budget collection in the last months of the year will face many difficulties, affecting the ability to complete the 2025 budget estimate.
To ensure the completion of the budget collection task, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hoang Giang requested agencies, units and localities to continue to seriously implement Decision 58 of the Provincial People's Committee on organizing the implementation of the local budget estimate for 2025 and Directive 03/CT-UBND of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on strengthening measures to collect the State budget.
At the same time, the authorities are required to focus on reviewing and evaluating potential revenues and taxes to propose solutions to increase revenue; strictly manage revenue from land, resources, minerals, e-commerce, and non-revenue revenue from enterprises outside the province. Strengthen tax management and thoroughly handle recoverable debts.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment and the Provincial Land Fund Development Center to proactively carry out the task of organizing land use rights auctions in accordance with regulations and ensuring progress. The Department of Finance is responsible for regularly updating the budget collection situation to promptly advise the Provincial People's Committee in its management work. The Management Board of Dung Quat Economic Zone and Quang Ngai Industrial Parks continues to support businesses to operate stably, creating conditions for completing budget collection targets in industrial parks. The Tax Department of Region 12 is assigned to review, classify, and thoroughly handle recoverable tax debts, promote debt collection, and mobilize maximum resources into the budget.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested the business community to focus on developing production, creating profits, ensuring income for workers, thereby making sustainable contributions to the local budget. At the same time, it is necessary to proactively improve competitiveness, innovate products, expand markets and closely coordinate with the government to promptly remove obstacles and difficulties. The province will always accompany and create favorable conditions for businesses to confidently invest, develop, and contribute to the overall growth.
