The Provincial People's Committee listened to reports on the progress of land use fee collection for projects in the province.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Phien chaired the meeting.

According to the plan, in 2025, the revenue from land use rights auctions and land use fees for projects collecting land use fees will be 1,000 billion VND. In particular, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Land Fund Development Center to conduct land use rights auctions for 14 projects; the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Management Board as the investor handed over the clean land fund to the Land Fund Development Center to organize land use rights auctions for 02 projects.

According to the report of the Provincial Land Fund Development Center, of the 14 projects assigned to the Center to organize auctions and collect land use fees in 2025, up to now, 5/14 projects have ensured implementation according to the plan assigned by the Provincial People's Committee, including: Residential area of Nghia Thang commune - phase 1; Resettlement area of village 1, Nghia Lam commune, part of the project to upgrade and expand DT.623B Quang Ngai - Thach Nham route; Hiep Son resettlement area, Duc Hiep commune, part of the project to upgrade DT.624B Quan Lat - Da Chat route; Hang Duong coastal urban service area project and My Tra - My Khe road axis residential area project.

Representative of the Provincial Land Fund Development Center reported on the progress of organizing auctions and collecting land use fees.

The remaining projects and 02 projects invested by the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Management Board handed over clean land funds to the Provincial Land Fund Development Center to organize land use rights auctions. The progress of implementation was slower than the plan assigned by the Provincial People's Committee, due to the delay in carrying out procedures for appraisal and approval of the Land Use Rights Auction Plan; the delay in approving the Land Use Rights Auction Plan; the units did not coordinate well in implementing the work of land recovery and allocation, etc.

Based on the reports and discussions of the delegates attending the meeting, and concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Phien requested relevant agencies and units to closely follow the plan of the Provincial People's Committee to organize the implementation. Based on the assigned functions, tasks and powers, proactively coordinate to implement the contents of the tasks of collecting land use fees assigned by the Provincial People's Committee, ensuring compliance with the set plan. During the implementation process, if any problems arise, they must be promptly reported and proposed to the Provincial People's Committee for direction.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Provincial Land Fund Development Center to closely follow the Plan for implementing land use rights auctions and land use fee collection for land use fee collection projects in 2025 of the Provincial People's Committee, proactively coordinate with relevant departments, branches and localities to organize auctions for state-owned houses that are eligible for auction, striving to collect land use fees at the highest level in 2025.
