Mass mobilization work in Chau Phu district

In carrying out mass mobilization work, the political system of Chau Phu district and communes and towns has strengthened propaganda and mobilization work to mobilize people to agree to implement economic, cultural and social development programs and plans, and emulation movements. Mass mobilization work in State agencies has been strengthened, focusing on administrative reform, simplifying procedures, and creating favorable conditions to serve the people.

The organization of dissemination and implementation of the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws on mass mobilization work in the new situation in Chau Phu district is carried out in conjunction with the tasks of each agency, unit and locality. Notably: Building and implementing a friendly government, agency and unit "of the people, by the people, for the people", training the working style of "respecting the people, being close to the people, understanding the people, learning from the people and being responsible to the people" among cadres, civil servants and public employees; doing a good job of caring for and improving the material and spiritual life of the people; implementing the goal of sustainable poverty reduction in ethnic minority areas and religious areas of the locality. Party committees and authorities at all levels of Chau Phu district pay attention to listening to the thoughts and aspirations of the people through questioning and answering questions at meetings with voters and citizens. The Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the District Party Committee and the Mass Mobilization Bloc of communes and towns have proactively advised and promptly resolved difficulties and concerns among the people right at the grassroots level. The work of mobilizing resources to support poor and near-poor households has been effectively implemented. The emulation movements of "Skilled Mass Mobilization" and "Skilled Mass Mobilization in New Rural Construction" have been actively deployed.

Specifically, implementing the theme "An Giang learns and follows the example of Uncle Ho and Uncle Ton in caring for people's lives" in 2025, 87 collectives and 41 individuals registered to implement the models of "Skilled mass mobilization", "Skilled mass mobilization in building new rural areas", "Skilled mass mobilization in building advanced new rural areas". Communes and towns of the district actively implemented the model " Ho Chi Minh and Ton Duc Thang cultural space" in places of worship in the period of 2024 - 2025. The model "Friendly government serving the people" was implemented in 13/13 communes and towns. Through the model, it has promoted positive effects, contributing to gradually changing the working style and manner of commune-level authorities towards serving the people.

To effectively carry out mass mobilization work, Chau Phu district associations and unions have linked the political tasks of the unit with activities to support people in economic development, taking care of their material and spiritual lives. Typically, such as: The district Farmers' Association has entrusted loans to a total of 688 households, with a total outstanding debt of over 32 billion VND; maintaining and promoting the effectiveness of models: Beef cattle farming, Pesticide packaging collection and treatment points; The district Women's Union has implemented programs: "Godmother", "Millions of gifts to share love", "Supporting women to build healthy families", "Women's groups integrating on the Internet"... The district Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and district socio-political organizations have actively participated in social supervision and criticism. Religious and ethnic affairs in the district are carried out in accordance with the provisions of law and the Party's policies. Local authorities and Party committees create all favorable conditions for religions to organize important holidays to ensure security, order and solemnity.

Head of the District Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, Chairman of the Chau Phu District People's Council Nguyen Duy Duc said that in carrying out the tasks and mass mobilization work, the District Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department has deployed to units to focus on promoting propaganda and mobilizing people to implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and participate in socio-economic development models; ensuring the people's right to supervise and participate in the local development process.
