Units have increased inspections in areas with complex terrain and areas prone to ice and snow, proactively devising plans to separate loads and cut off power locally when there is a risk of insecurity, protecting equipment and people's lives. At the same time, urgently deploy plans to restore power supply as soon as possible.
The Company also pays special attention to labor safety. Workers are fully equipped with protective gear, thermal clothing, specialized flashlights, etc.; are instructed on safe working skills in cold, foggy, slippery conditions, ensuring health and safety when moving on highland terrain. Lai Chau's 110kV power grid has a total length of more than 440km with 4 110kV transformer stations, playing the role of connecting the Northern power grid with Dien Bien and Lao Cai. The rugged terrain, high mountains and deep ravines make management and maintenance difficult, especially in the harsh winter.
In addition, close coordination between the High Voltage Grid Enterprise, regional power management teams and the Remote Control Center helps to detect and handle incidents quickly, minimize power outage time, and maintain stable operation of the entire system.

In 2025, the unit was assigned the task of ensuring electricity for the Tourism - Culture Week and the 2nd Lai Chau Marathon (scheduled to take place in November). According to Mr. Quach Van Bien - Deputy Director of PC Lai Chau, the Company has closely coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and localities to survey the actual location, make detailed plans for power supply, arrange backup generators, assign on-duty forces to each area, ensuring the event takes place safely and successfully; contributing to promoting the image of Lai Chau as a dynamic, friendly and rich in development potential.
PC Lai Chau not only ensures the operation of the power grid but also performs well in information, communication and customer care. The affiliated units coordinate with the Customer Care Center to promptly update weather developments, arrange forces to regularly monitor, promptly check and respond to customer feedback, especially comments related to high electricity bills. At the same time, strengthen propaganda on safe and economical use of electricity. The company also regularly monitors disaster and weather warning bulletins from functional agencies, maintains contact with the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue of the province, of the Northern Power Corporation to proactively deploy timely response measures.
