In order to ensure epidemic prevention and control work to serve the signing ceremony of the United Nations Convention against Cybercrime, the Hanoi Center for Disease Control (CDC Hanoi) has issued Plan No. 2737/KH-KSBT clearly stating the content and tasks of relevant units.
The Hanoi Center for Disease Control is the standing agency responsible for implementing monitoring measures, ensuring environmental hygiene and disease prevention and control during the event (from October 25-26 at the National Convention Center).
Control of domestic water quality and environment at the venue and related areas will be enhanced to ensure absolute safety for delegates.
The center maintains a 24/7 epidemic prevention and control regime; prepares mobile teams to respond to emergency situations, especially risks such as food poisoning, infectious diseases, accidents, and unusual medical incidents with a large number of affected people.
In addition, the Center recommends that the Nam Tu Liem Ward Health Station send staff to join the inspection team, monitor hygiene and water quality, take samples for testing of domestic water at the venue; coordinate with the Center to closely monitor the epidemic and proactively detect local outbreaks to effectively handle and control the epidemic.
The unit guides the implementation of environmental sanitation, insect extermination, disinfection, and cleaning of contact surfaces to ensure disease prevention and control; arranges a permanent disease prevention and control team at the Health Station during the signing ceremony, and coordinates to be ready to perform the task.
The Hanoi Center for Disease Control recommends that relevant units seriously implement the plan, proactively update developments and adjust plans accordingly according to the direction of the Ministry of Health and the Hanoi Department of Health to ensure the safety and success of the event.
The signing ceremony of the United Nations Convention against Cybercrime in Hanoi (Hanoi Convention) is a historic event, taking place on October 25-26. This is the first time the United Nations Convention has been named after a Vietnamese city - vivid proof of Vietnam's increasing position in the international arena.
With the theme "Combating Cybercrime - Sharing Responsibility - Looking Forward," the Convention is not only a legal document but also a blueprint for international cooperation, providing member states with powerful tools to prevent, investigate and prosecute cybercrime./.
