On the evening of December 15th, at APEC Park (Hai Chau District, Da Nang City), the photo exhibition "80 Years of Pride – Steadfast Steps Towards the Future" and an art program celebrating the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day were inaugurated.
The proud 80-year journey of the heroic Vietnamese People's Army has been a subject of inspiration for many generations of photographers. This exhibition features 80 photographs by 35 authors, selected from over 500 artistic photographs. The themes and content of the works profoundly portray the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers through the lens of photographic art.
Delegates visit the exhibition.
A new feature of this exhibition is that it not only features images of the military forces in Da Nang and Military Region 5, but also expands to include works from all over the country, images of the strength of various military branches, images of the border and islands, from Lang Nu village to officers of the Vietnam People's Army participating in peacekeeping forces in South Sudan…
Eighty works documented the achievements and victories of the Vietnam People's Army in national construction and defense during peacetime, with the motto of always being ready to fight and avoiding being caught off guard; international peacekeeping activities; and rescuing people from natural disasters and floods. Through these works, the photographers and art photography enthusiasts expressed their affection and dedication to the Vietnam People's Army.
The exhibition runs until December 31st at APEC Park and junior high schools, contributing to spreading the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers to the younger generation.
