On behalf of the City's National Assembly Delegation, Mr. Pham Nhu Hiep, Director of Hue Central Hospital, informed voters about the plan for the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly.

Accordingly, the 9th Session will open on May 5 and is expected to close on June 28, and will be conducted in 2 phases (phase 1 from May 5-28, phase 2 from June 11-28).

At this session, the National Assembly will consider the decision to amend and supplement a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution, establish a Committee to draft amendments and supplements to a number of articles of the Constitution, and consider and approve the National Assembly's Resolution amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution; consider and approve 30 laws, give opinions on 6 draft laws and 7 resolutions, and may consider other draft laws and resolutions to serve the organization and apparatus arrangement of the political system.

Regarding socio-economic issues and the state budget, the National Assembly will consider the Supplementary Assessment Report on the implementation results of the 2024 Socio-Economic Development Plan; the implementation status of the 2025 Socio-Economic Development Plan. In addition, the National Assembly is expected to pass the National Assembly Resolution on merging administrative units (ADUs); consider and decide on the establishment of the National Election Council and the election of the Chairman of the National Election Council; approve the proposal of the Chairman of the National Election Council on the list of Vice Chairmen of the National Election Council and members of the National Election Council...

Mr. Pham Nhu Hiep also informed about the remarkable results of the city's socio-economic situation in the first months of 2025.

Within the framework of the conference, local voters expressed joy, excitement, and high consensus with the policies of the Party and State in recent times.

Sending their opinions to the upcoming National Assembly session, local voters recommended that competent authorities pay more attention to supporting people affected by projects; the National Assembly promptly complete the Law on Organization of Local Government (amended); the Government promptly issue specific guiding documents on decentralization and delegation of power when new laws come into effect; have specific support policies, and reasonably arrange the team of part-time officials at the commune level...

Voters also hope that the city’s National Assembly deputies will propose to the National Assembly and the Government to consider strengthening special mechanisms for Hue. In addition, voters expressed concerns about obstacles in the process of educational reform, drug crimes, agricultural land compensation policies, etc. In particular, voters in A Luoi district have opinions on naming new communes after the rearrangement.

Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee, Mr. Phan Quy Phuong informed and clarified some contents related to the management and operation of the city government.

Mr. Phan Quy Phuong said that the process of implementing the plan to reorganize commune-level administrative units in the area has been carried out seriously, publicly and democratically. "Through synthesis, voters highly agreed with the plan to reorganize commune-level administrative units of the city. The results of the voter survey showed that the consensus rate reached nearly 98%," Mr. Phuong informed.

According to Mr. Phan Quy Phuong, in recent times, the city has been implementing many key projects and works, which are meaningful in promoting socio-economic development and creating a new look for Hue city.

Responding to voters’ concerns about the team of part-time commune-level cadres after the rearrangement, Mr. Phuong said that the Ministry of Home Affairs is currently taking the lead in developing and advising the Government on appropriate support policies. The city will continue to update and implement policies after specific instructions are issued, and at the same time propose solutions to create conditions for those who are truly capable and dedicated to continue working at the grassroots level...

Concluding the conference, Head of the City's National Assembly Delegation, Mr. Le Truong Luu acknowledged the heartfelt recommendations of voters in the city.

Mr. Le Truong Luu also directly responded to voters' recommendations. Regarding the policy for the team of part-time cadres at the commune level after the reorganization of administrative units, Mr. Le Truong Luu said that he would fully convey the recommendations to the competent authorities for consideration and promulgation of appropriate support mechanisms.

Head of the city's National Assembly delegation, Mr. Le Truong Luu, emphasized that Hue City is gradually perfecting its orientation for urban space development in a synchronous and sustainable direction. Regarding development mechanisms, the city will summarize Resolution 38 of the National Assembly and Resolution 54 of the Politburo. On that basis, it will submit to the National Assembly for consideration and promulgation of new, specific mechanisms, creating a strong driving force for Hue in the coming period.

In response to voters' concerns about the current state of education reform that is not yet consistent, the city's National Assembly Delegation will propose to the National Assembly and the Government solutions to improve practical effectiveness. "Regarding drug prevention and control, the National Assembly has issued a specialized resolution, and the city has directed its drastic implementation; in the coming time, compulsory drug rehabilitation will be applied to prevent and reduce drug abuse in the community. Regarding the arrangement of administrative units at the commune level, the city will implement it according to the correct procedures," said Mr. Luu.
