Dai Tu: Rewarding 73 outstanding elderly groups and individuals

With their efforts and endeavors to successfully implement the emulation movement "Old age - Bright example" in the period of 2021-2025, 73 groups and individuals of the elderly in Dai Tu district were awarded at the meeting program to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Association of the Elderly (May 10, 1995 - May 10, 2025); summarizing the patriotic emulation movement "Old age - Bright example" in the period of 2021-2025, organized by the District Association of the Elderly on the morning of May 9.

In recent years, responding to the emulation movement "Old age - Bright example" launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Association of the Elderly, the Dai Tu District Association of the Elderly has coordinated with grassroots associations to propagate and mobilize members to actively participate.

In the period of 2021-2025, the association at all levels will promote membership recruitment, raising the membership rate to 92.9% (with over 23,960 members/25,780 elderly); over 9,870 members are party members...

Through annual evaluation and review, 97% of commune-level association organizations are classified as excellent and good; 92% of branches are classified as good; over 90% of members have achieved the title of "Elderly - Bright Example"; over 90% of member families have met the criteria of "Exemplary Grandparents' Family" and "Cultural Family".

Promoting the role of the elderly in participating in building cultural life, the movement to encourage learning, encourage talents, protect the environment, build a new model countryside, and civilized urban areas, the elderly association members in the district actively mobilize their children and grandchildren and take the lead in donating over 68,800m2 of land, contributing nearly 20,000 working days to build rural roads, build public welfare works...

With the achievements in the period of 2021-2025, many collectives, individuals and the Elderly Association of Dai Tu district were awarded Certificates of Merit and Certificates of Merit from all levels and sectors.
