Voters of Lam Hai commune propose to review the regime for non-professional officials

This morning (April 17), the National Assembly delegation of Ca Mau province had a meeting with voters before the 9th session of the 15th National Assembly in Lam Hai commune, Nam Can district.

The delegation of the National Assembly of Ca Mau province, led by Mr. Dinh Ngoc Minh, full-time member of the National Assembly's Economic and Financial Committee, informed voters of the expected content and program of the upcoming session.

At the meeting, voters of Lam Hai commune proposed and recommended a number of issues that need to be considered and adjusted as soon as possible, such as: dredging irrigation canals to serve cultivation and facilitate people's travel; expanding a number of rural traffic routes and improving main roads in the commune; policies on building houses on forest land; some farmers' products are being forced to lower prices by traders; effective solutions are needed in the face of the continuous occurrence of shrimp and crab diseases; inadequacies in health insurance and drug distribution at commune health centers, district hospitals, etc.

Voters of Lam Hai commune presented many opinions on inappropriate issues in life and society.

Most notably is the recommendation on the regime for non-professional workers at the commune level. Currently, there are quite a few non-professional workers with qualifications such as: university, intermediate level of political theory, state management, foreign languages, information technology... so there should be a policy to consider, select, arrange, structure and organize the commune-level apparatus after the arrangement. At the same time, the People's Council needs to consider the termination regime for non-professional workers after the end of their activities to ensure the rights, efforts and time of this force.

Mr. Bui Tu Hai, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, received voters' comments.

After listening to the opinions of voters, representatives of the leaders of the departments and branches of Ca Mau province answered some contents within their authority. Regarding the remaining opinions, the National Assembly delegation requested the districts and communes to synthesize and propose competent agencies to consider and answer according to the regulations of the State and the law.
