
More than 300 women from Phan Dinh Phung, Tich Luong and Quyet Thang wards provided knowledge on the importance of implementing Resolution No. 72-NQ/TW, dated September 9, 2025 of the Politburo on a number of breakthrough solutions to strengthen the protection, care and improvement of people's health.
Through the workshop, women are more aware of the shift from a mindset focused on medical examination and treatment (passive medicine ) to proactive disease prevention (preventive medicine) and comprehensive health care.
Director of the Central Center for Health Communication and Education Vu Manh Cuong shared that the presentations at the workshop provided practical and useful information about what women need to do to proactively take care of their physical, nutritional, and mental health for themselves and their families.
Women need to be aware of their role in building a healthy community. When women proactively take care of their health, it is not only an act for themselves, but also the beginning of a healthy family and a happy society. Taking care of your health proactively is not a choice, but the right and responsibility of every woman in the new era.
The workshop also provided women with basic knowledge on responsible consumption of beverage products, proactive daily nutrition to maintain a healthy lifestyle with reasonable nutrition, proactive, maintaining daily physical activity not only to prevent disease but also to live healthy, live happily and improve the quality of life.
Women are also given practical guidance on how to read food and beverage labels, product ingredients, origin, additives, etc., which are factors that can pose health risks. This helps consumers understand product ingredients, nutritional values, especially total sugar content to avoid confusion between sugar sources (such as fruit juice, milk tea) and make appropriate consumption decisions.
