At the invitation of the Government of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the Government of the Republic of Turkey, this morning (November 28), Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his wife, along with a high-level Vietnamese delegation, departed from Noi Bai Airport ( Hanoi ) to attend the 28th Conference of Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP 28), conduct several bilateral activities in the UAE, and pay an official visit to Turkey from November 29 to December 3.
2023 marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the UAE. The working visit to attend COP 28 and conduct several bilateral activities in the UAE is of significant importance, affirming Vietnam 's consistent policy on green growth and climate change response, while also demonstrating Vietnam 's role and position within regional and international cooperation frameworks. Simultaneously, it strengthens political trust and enhances the effectiveness of cooperation between Vietnam and the UAE.
In 2023, Vietnam and Turkey celebrated the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. The two countries enjoy friendly relations and good cooperation in many fields such as politics, economics, trade, education, and culture, while also sharing many similarities in history, culture, and development.
