For the first time, the program to meet outstanding Ha Tinh youth and students in Hanoi was organized to provide opportunities for youth and students to exchange and connect; at the same time, it was an opportunity to introduce the policies of the Central Government and the province on developing high-quality human resources.
Ready for the meeting program
On the morning of June 11 - the 75th anniversary of Uncle Ho's call for patriotic emulation, at the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics , Cau Giay District (Hanoi), a meeting and connection program will take place for outstanding and typical youth and students from Ha Tinh who are working and studying in Hanoi.
The program is expected to have more than 120 delegates who are students from Ha Tinh currently studying at universities and academies in Hanoi with excellent academic and training achievements and excellent Ha Tinh graduates working at ministries, departments, agencies, units and enterprises in Hanoi.
The meeting will take place on the morning of June 11 in Hanoi.
To prepare for the meeting program, based on the direction of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, from April 2023, the Provincial Youth Union Executive Committee will directly work with the Hanoi Youth Union, the Youth Union of Central Agencies and a number of universities and academies in Hanoi to coordinate in reviewing and providing a list and information of Ha Tinh youth who graduated with honors from the 2020 school year to present and Ha Tinh students studying at schools with excellent, typical and outstanding achievements, students facing difficult circumstances who overcome difficulties to study well.
Basic preparation work completed.
Based on the schools' provision, the Provincial Youth Union Executive Committee focused on reviewing and selecting valedictorians, excellent graduates, students who meet the conditions according to Decree No. 140/2017/ND-CP of the Government on policies to attract and create cadres from excellent graduates, young scientists (referred to as Decree 140), and students who are studying close to the conditions according to Decree 140 to invite them to participate in the program; at the same time, establishing working groups to directly contact, connect, grasp the thoughts, feelings and aspirations of the students.
With a sense of responsibility and a process of working hard and connecting, the preparation for the meeting program has basically been completed. In addition to outstanding youth and students, the program also included the participation of the Central Secretariat of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Committee, and leaders of provincial departments, agencies and branches.
Leaders and officials of Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union reviewed some contents to prepare for the upcoming meeting program.
Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Nguyen Ny Huong said: “As this is the first time the program is organized, the preparation process still encountered certain difficulties, but the Provincial Youth Union Executive Committee has actively followed up and worked with relevant units in Hanoi to approach and connect with outstanding and exemplary youth and students from Ha Tinh. After receiving information about the meeting, many youth and students directly contacted the Provincial Youth Union to learn about the program. That shows the interest and affection of youth and students for their homeland.
The Provincial Youth Union highly appreciates and hopes that through the program, it will arouse the pride, solidarity, sense of responsibility, and enthusiasm for dedication of young people from Ha Tinh in Hanoi in particular and across the country, as well as abroad in general, thereby effectively promoting young human resources, high-quality human resources to contribute to the development of the province and the country.

According to information from the Organizing Committee, there are currently more than 120 delegates, who are outstanding young people and students, who have confirmed their participation in the meeting. During discussions with the Organizing Committee, all young people and students expressed their joy and excitement at participating in the meeting program. This will be an opportunity for young people and students to exchange, meet, and learn from their seniors and fellow countrymen.
Dang Sy Le An feels warm and extremely proud because his homeland always cares for and encourages his children living far away from home.
As an excellent former student of the National Economics University, Dang Sy Le An (born in 2001, from Thach Kenh commune, Thach Ha) shared: “I was really surprised when the Organizing Committee contacted me to invite me to attend the meeting. I feel warm and extremely proud because my hometown always cares for and encourages my children who are far away from home.
After graduating from university, I found a job in Hanoi but deep down I still wanted to return to my hometown. I know that Ha Tinh has many job opportunities and by participating in this program, I have a stronger determination to return and find a place for myself in my hometown."
Female student Dau Thi Thuan eagerly looked forward to the meeting.
Sharing the same feeling of excitement and anticipation of participating in the meeting program, Dau Thi Thuan (born in 2003), a second-year student at the Academy of Journalism and Communication, from An Hoa Thinh commune (Huong Son) confided: “I am very happy and pleased to be one of the students participating in the upcoming meeting program organized by the Provincial Youth Union. I was very lucky to receive support from the province's Hong Lam Fund to enter university, and each month I received 2 million VND from the fund. And now, I continue to receive the attention and encouragement of the province. That gives me more confidence and motivation to strive to study and practice to achieve the best results, not to disappoint everyone's trust and expectations."
The program to meet outstanding students and young people from Ha Tinh was chosen for the first time to be held in Hanoi - where many of the country's leading universities are concentrated, with a large number of Ha Tinh students studying, showing the province's concern for students far from home and high-quality human resources.
Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics (Hanoi) is the venue for the meeting.
Sharing about the significance of the upcoming youth and student meeting program, comrade Hoang Trung Dung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council said: "Up to now, Ha Tinh has always paid attention to connecting children far from home and considered this an important human resource, contributing to promoting the development of the homeland. Reality has proven that most of Ha Tinh children working in localities, agencies, and enterprises in the country or abroad always turn to their homeland.
The program to meet young people and students in Hanoi is one of the activities to strengthen the connection with children far from home, students and young people who have overcome difficulties to achieve excellent results. This is an opportunity for the province to honor them and also an opportunity to inform them about the province's policies to attract and develop high-quality human resources.
The provincial leaders wish to invite all of you to work in the province and contribute to the development of your homeland, but whether that becomes a reality or not depends on the job requirements, your determination and will to make efforts. Above all, the provincial leaders hope that all of you, wherever you are and whatever you do, will always strive to promote the cultural traditions and character of Ha Tinh people.
