Nguyen Nhut Phat and Huynh Nguyen Dang Khoa (Military Zone 7) successfully separated the group, sharing the victory in the prizes along the way. Because these two racers were no longer eligible to compete for the final titles, the large group behind did not accelerate to chase. Thanks to that, Nguyen Nhut Phat and Huynh Nguyen Dang Khoa successfully reached the finish line. With better sprinting ability, Nguyen Nhut Phat overtook Huynh Nguyen Dang Khoa, winning at the finish line in Tay Ninh .

This is Nguyen Nhut Phat's first stage victory at the 2025 Ho Chi Minh City Television Cycling Cup. He, along with Nguyen Anh Huy, Nguyen Van Binh, and Nguyen Tan Hoai, are the four Vietnamese racers who have had the joy of winning a stage in this year's race, up to this point. "Today, my goal was to attack to hunt for prizes along the way, while the goal of the entire Vinh Long team was to support racer Nick Kergozou to find a stage victory on his birthday. However, when the gap between me and the racer in the group was getting wider, we decided to finish together to compete for the stage victory. I am very happy and excited to have won the first stage at the Ho Chi Minh City Television Cycling Cup," Nguyen Nhut Phat confided after the finish line.
