The 66-year-old will replace Igor Tudor, who was sacked after Juventus went eight consecutive matches without a win.
Mr. Spalletti's mission is to help Juventus recover and compete for the Serie A championship or at least a place in the Champions League next season.
Juventus said in a statement: "Luciano Spalletti will be the new head coach of Juventus, signing a contract with the club until June 30, 2026. We are delighted to welcome a coach with such expertise and experience to the Bianconeri family: welcome to Juventus and good luck, coach."
Spalletti led Napoli to their first Serie A title in 33 years in 2023, before taking over the Italy national team. He guided Italy to Euro 2024, where they were eliminated by Switzerland in the round of 16.
In June this year, Mr. Spalletti was fired after Italy lost 0-3 to Norway in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. This put Italy at risk of missing out on a third consecutive World Cup.
Previously, Mr. Spalletti also led Inter Milan, Roma and Udinese in Serie A. And he also won the Russian Premier League twice with Zenit St Petersburg.
Juventus are currently ranked 7th in Serie A with 15 points, 6 points behind the leading team Napoli after 9 rounds.
