Former Barcelona and France striker Christophe Dugarry has expressed his outrage at the behaviour of Real Madrid players both on and off the pitch.

Rudiger was angry after receiving a red card.

Speaking to RMC Sport , Dugarry said: "It's a disgrace what they (Real Madrid) have done. I'm shocked by the pressure, the slander and the lack of goodwill."

Real Madrid are facing a wave of criticism after their Copa del Rey final. The highly anticipated El Clasico last weekend turned tense and violent in the final minutes, with Antonio Rudiger sent off after reacting violently to a refereeing decision. Previously, former German player Lothar Matthaus also criticized Antonio Rudiger and said that the German midfielder completely lost control.

Speaking on Sky 90 , the German legend said: “Rudiger completely lost control. He was unconscious, forcing his teammates to try to restrain him. They almost had to hug Rudiger like in a wrestling match to prevent this player from rushing onto the field, avoiding more serious consequences.”
