FIFA called Hai Long's name after MU lost to ASEAN All Stars

After the surprising 1-0 victory of ASEAN All Stars over MU Club (Premier League), the name Hai Long suddenly became a global sensation.

Of the four Vietnamese players called up, only Hai Long was chosen by coach Kim Sang Sik to start from the start, even though he had just played in round 24 of the V-League the day before and had not had any training sessions with the team.

However, it was the Hanoi FC midfielder who played the best on the field in the first 45 minutes. Positioned as a winger in a 3-4-3 formation, Hai Long made MU's defense scared many times with his speed and skillful technique.

The official fanpage of the FIFA World Cup shared a photo of Hai Long with a viral status: "I've never heard of him..." - a hidden admission about the unexpected explosion of the Vietnamese player.

International fans also did not hesitate to praise him: "Can we exchange MU's number 9 for him?", or "Every move of ASEAN All-Stars makes MU's defense tremble, especially number 9".

Hai Long - from the pride of AFF Cup 2024, is now a name that many international newspapers have to mention.
