Bruno Fernandes is about to leave Man Utd, receive a high salary in Saudi Arabia

(Dan Tri) - According to British media, Bruno Fernandes is likely to leave Man Utd this summer when he cannot resist the high salary from Al Hilal Club.

According to the Dailymail , while Bruno Fernandes is on a friendly tour in Asia with his Man Utd teammates, his agent Miguel Pinho flew to Saudi Arabia this week to negotiate with Al Hilal Club.

Club president Fahad bin Nafel is said to have held active negotiations with Pinho at the Four Seasons Hotel in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), in which Al Hilal proposed a very lucrative contract for the Portuguese midfielder.

Accordingly, Al Hilal will increase Fernandes' salary of 280,000 pounds a week at Man Utd to 700,000 pounds a week. The contract will be for 3 years with a total value of up to 200 million pounds including bonuses.

If Fernandes agrees to the deal, he will immediately receive the third highest salary in world football, behind only Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema.

Al Hilal are set to take part in the expanded FIFA Club World Cup next month and are keen to sign a new superstar to make the cut. The Saudi champions earlier this week told Bruno Fernandes he had 72 hours to think about it.

The Portuguese midfielder has yet to make a specific decision, but after Man Utd's defeat to Tottenham in the Europa League final, the possibility of him leaving Old Trafford is very high.

"To be honest I will stay at Man Utd until the club doesn't need me anymore. I'm eager to do more, to be able to bring great days to the club.

"The day the club thinks I'm no longer valuable and it's time to leave, I will leave. Football is like that, you never know what will happen," Bruno Fernandes shared after the "Red Devils" lost in the Europa League final.

Notably, the Man Utd captain and his teammates just suffered an embarrassing defeat against the Southeast Asian All-Stars team during the Old Trafford team's friendly tour in Malaysia on May 28.

At 7pm today (May 30), Man Utd will continue to have a friendly match with the Hong Kong team (China).
