In 2025, the University of Law - Vietnam National University , Hanoi - will enroll students in 4 ways: direct admission according to regulations; considering high school graduation exam scores; considering Hanoi National University's capacity assessment exam scores (HSA) and priority admission according to the specific mechanism of Hanoi National University.
In the method of considering high school graduation exam scores, the school uses 6 admission combinations, without C00, A00 blocks and there is no difference in admission scores between the combinations.
These 6 groups include: C03 (math, literature, history), A07 (math, history, geography), A01 (math, physics, English), D01 (math, literature, English), D14 (literature, history, English) and D15 (literature, geography, English).
Notably, the school allows the use of converted IELTS or TOEFL scores in place of English graduation exam scores in the admission combination.
The IELTS score conversion rate to 10-point scale of the University of Law is as follows:

Candidates who have national excellent student awards but do not use the right to direct admission will be given priority with an additional 1.5 to 3 points.
High school students of Hanoi National University who have participated in the VNU 12+ Program, have an average 3-year study result of 9.0 or higher, an average English score of 7.0 or higher, or have an IELTS certificate of 5.5/ TOEFL iBT 72 points, will receive additional points when applying based on their high school graduation exam scores.
The bonus points are 1.5 for good students, 2 points for good students and 2.5 points for excellent students.
In 2025, the University of Law will enroll 4 majors with a total enrollment target of 1,100.
