Model Vu Linh said he was once ridiculed and criticized for his appearance. He works hard every day in the hope of winning the Manhunt International 2025 contest.

At Tan Son Nhat airport, Nguyen Vu Linh appeared with a confident, radiant demeanor and a toned, attractive body.

The male model brought a total of 10 pieces of luggage weighing 151kg, including fashion clothes, suits, performance costumes and accessories from domestic designers... specially prepared for the 10-day journey.

Before entering the exit area, Vu Linh was seen off by his family and colleagues, wishing him a smooth journey and successful competition.

He is expected to achieve high results in the world male contest.

“I bring not only luggage but also the feelings and expectations of my family, friends, and domestic audiences. Each outfit contains the investment and dedication of the entire crew,” said Vu Linh.

He affirmed that he will try his best in this competition. In addition to learning Thai, presentation skills, and behavior, he also works hard to stay in shape and have a toned body.

The male model underwent rigorous training to have an ideal body shape.

Vu Linh shared: “A few years ago, I was just an ordinary model with an unremarkable body. After a fashion show, I received a lot of criticism and disdain for my skinny appearance. That made me determined to change. I spent many years following a strict diet and high-intensity training to improve my figure.”

Every day he spends about 3 hours at the gym, combining a low-carb, high-protein diet with fresh, clean food. In addition, he also actively plays sports to increase endurance and maintain the best physical condition.

Nguyen Vu Linh was born in 1994, 1.86m tall, 78kg, with measurements of 99-78-98cm. He has been active in the arts since 2017 as a model. In 2018, Nguyen Vu Linh competed in Vietnam Fashion Model and won the runner-up position.

The 9X model from Ben Tre entered the Top 10 of The Next Gentleman program, the title of Most Favorite Model at the Vietnam Model Awards 2023.

He used to be a flight attendant, then stopped working to become a freelance model in Ho Chi Minh City.

Before coming to Manhunt International 2025, Vu Linh had twice represented Vietnam in international competitions and achieved a number of achievements, notably the runner-up position at Mister Grand International 2022.

Manhunt International is the largest male beauty pageant in the world, first held in 1993. The contest is highly appreciated for its professionalism, organization scale and humane message towards honoring complete men: Strong, brave, inspiring and responsible to the community.

This year's competition will gather representatives from more than 40 countries and territories from June 2 in Thailand with a series of exchange activities, filming, and performances. The final night will take place on June 10 in Bangkok.
