Fruit vendors are also an indispensable part of this bustling picture. From street vendors, three-wheeled carts loaded with fruit at the market, to large specialty stores. They are an important bridge bringing fresh fruit from the garden to consumers. Their clear voices, friendly invitations and knowledge of each type of fruit help them create interesting stories for customers. "Ri6 durian, please. Now, the price is "soft", only 60,000 - 70,000 VND/kg depending on the type. Guaranteed delicious, guaranteed fatty, guaranteed return if not bland" - Ms. Thanh enthusiastically invited customers, her hands quickly selecting durians with even pits for customers.

For consumers, summer is a great opportunity to enjoy the freshest flavors. The feeling of choosing golden, fatty durian segments yourself; tasting the sweet taste of longan, or feeling the crunchy, slightly sour taste of Hanoi plum. Ms. Mai Anh (Long Xuyen City), a fruit lover, shared: “In the summer, I buy a type of fruit every day. One day it is durian, another day it is mangosteen, Thai rambutan, longan... The favorite dish of the whole family is durian because this fruit is only delicious and abundant in the summer. The aroma of durian is seductive, eating it is addictive. Mangosteen is both sweet and refreshing, you can eat it forever without getting bored.”

Holding a box of durian that had just been opened, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hai (Long Xuyen City) said: “I feel the warmth of the summer sun and the characteristic aroma, the golden durian segments melt on the tip of the tongue, leaving a fragrant, lingering aftertaste. Each durian segment encapsulates the flavor of the earth and sky, of the farmers' efforts”. Not only stopping at enjoying it directly, many people also choose to give it as a gift to relatives and friends far away, so that the sweet flavor of the West follows them to every part of the country, spreading affection and warmth.
