Da Lat: Construction order violations discovered but the ward "pushes" responsibility to the city

The People's Committee of Ward 10, Da Lat City was criticized for shirking responsibility, avoiding and being weak in state management in the fields of land management and construction order.

On May 7, the People's Committee of Da Lat City ( Lam Dong Province) said it had criticized the People's Committee of Ward 10 for shirking responsibility and avoiding handling construction order in the area.

Illegal construction but Ward 10 did not make a record to handle it

Specifically, at the tourist spot “Fat Cat World ” (the former Flying Royal Garden agricultural tourist spot on Mimosa Street, Ward 10, Da Lat City), illegal constructions appeared, including iron frames, slides, prefabricated houses made of cement panels... covering hundreds of square meters, but the People's Committee of Ward 10 did not handle them according to its authority.

At this tourist attraction, the constructions are still in disarray and have not been handled by the authorities.

After that, Ward 10 People's Committee proposed Da Lat City People's Committee to direct specialized departments and offices to inspect the construction to clarify violations in the above area to have a basis for handling according to regulations.

Da Lat City People's Committee said that the criticism of Ward 10 People's Committee was due to this unit's report of shirking responsibility, evasion and weakness in state management in the fields of land management and construction order.

Da Lat City also requested the leaders of Ward 10 People's Committee to prepare a file to handle violations no later than May 15, 2025.
