To diversify tourism services and exploit the potential for water-based entertainment activities along the Han River and the coast, the People's Committee of Da Nang City has issued specific exploitation plans.

On May 21, the People's Committee of Da Nang City announced that it had issued a plan to organize water recreation activities in coastal areas and the Han River area.

This plan lists the vehicles allowed for water sports activities, including: jet skis, parasailing canoes, banana boats, windsurfing canoes, jet skis and some other motorized vehicles in accordance with regulations; inland waterway vehicles combined with sea tubing, diving, SUP, kayaking, etc.

Non-motorized vehicles including: windsurfing, kite surfing, windsurfing, kayaking, sup, personal swimming board and some other types according to regulations... are also allowed to operate for tourism purposes.

Da Nang City requires units to monitor quality standards, technical safety and environmental protection for vehicles and equipment serving players.

The water recreation areas in Da Nang will include the Hoang Sa - Vo Nguyen Giap - Truong Sa coastline, the Nguyen Tat Thanh coastline, the Hai Van pass coastline, the Son Tra peninsula, and the Han River water area from the Han River bridge to Tran Thi Ly bridge.

The implementation period of the plan is from 2025 to 2030. Depending on the actual situation during the implementation process, the needs of businesses, people or other legal regulations, the People's Committee of Da Nang City will consider supplementing and adjusting accordingly.

To effectively implement this plan, the People's Committee of Da Nang City requires relevant departments, branches and localities to ensure compliance with and implementation of legal regulations. The implementation process must ensure that it does not affect national defense and security. At the same time, it must preserve marine resources and biodiversity.

Require control of vehicles and activities according to regulations. Detect, correct and promptly guide organizations and individuals in complying with issued regulations.

Minimize negative impacts on the sea and Han River areas. Minimize risks to the health and lives of guests.

In addition, the orientation of underwater activity areas in coastal sea areas and the Han River area does not exclude the right to move vehicles related to purposes other than the purpose of underwater entertainment service business activities such as public activities, activities for research, conservation, community, event organization, etc.
