At the seminar, the city leaders said that Da Nang is a central urban area in the Central region, holding a strategic position connecting North - South, East - West and lying on the East - West Economic Corridor.
With synchronous transport infrastructure such as Tien Sa port, international airport, modern logistics system and high-quality living environment, Da Nang is considered a dynamic and competitive city.
In its development orientation, Da Nang identifies finance and technology as two strategic pillars for sustainable growth. The city is implementing the International Financial Center project, aiming to form a modern financial - commercial - service area, attracting financial institutions, investment funds, Fintech and technology enterprises.

In the discussion with the theme "Building a Vietnam International Financial Center in Da Nang - Vision, Strategy and Global Cooperation", the city's leaders emphasized that the formation of a regional financial center is not only a strategic step to enhance Da Nang's economic position, but also contributes to shaping Vietnam's future sustainable growth.
City leaders affirmed that the development strategy needs to be implemented synchronously from perfecting institutions, attracting high-quality human resources, expanding financial and technological infrastructure to building a competitive and safe business environment.
At the Business Information Session: Perspectives from Austrian Financial and Investment Partners, leading Austrian financial institutions shared their experiences and potential for cooperation with the IFC Da Nang initiative.
At the second session with the theme “Da Nang - Vietnam's new Silicon Valley”, the city introduced its outstanding potential to become the country's high-tech hub.
Da Nang has synchronous infrastructure, quality living environment, abundant IT human resources and a rapidly growing innovation ecosystem.
The city is accelerating the development of High-Tech Parks, research centers, startup support programs and attracting international experts.
Da Nang also expands investment opportunities in semiconductors and AI, including component manufacturing, microchip design and AI applications. The city is committed to creating a transparent and favorable investment environment, accompanying businesses to promote the formation of Vietnam's "new Silicon Valley".
Concluding the discussion, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Ngo Xuan Thang highly appreciated the contributions, saying that the sharing helped Da Nang add many strategic perspectives to its development orientation.

The Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee emphasized that Da Nang is entering a new phase with the goal of becoming an economic, financial, technological and innovation center of the Central region and the whole country; aiming to build an international financial center and "Vietnam's new Silicon Valley".
The city hopes to strengthen cooperation with Austria and Europe in research, technology transfer, human resource training, data development, cyber security, smart cities and green finance.
