(Fatherland) - On the evening of July 2 (Moscow time) at the Zaryadie Concert Hall in Moscow, Russia, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam in coordination with relevant agencies solemnly held the Opening Ceremony of Vietnamese Cultural Days in the Russian Federation in 2024.
On the evening of July 2 (Moscow time) at the Zaryadie Concert Hall in Moscow, Russia, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam in coordination with relevant agencies solemnly held the Opening Ceremony of the Vietnamese Cultural Days in the Russian Federation in 2024. Attending the program were Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court Nguyen Hoa Binh ; Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung; Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to the Russian Federation Dang Minh Khoi. On the Russian side, there were Mr. Andrey Yatskin, First Vice Chairman of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation; Ms. OBLiubimova, Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation. Notably, the Opening Ceremony was attended by about 1,000 spectators who are Russians and Vietnamese people living, studying and working in the Russian Federation.
Before the opening ceremony, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung, First Vice Chairman of the Federation Council of Russia Andrey Yatskin; Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation OBLiubimova and delegates visited the exhibition space “Vietnam – Country of cultural heritage”, displaying impressive photographic works about natural and cultural heritages in Vietnam.
The event was held to implement the Joint Statement on deepening the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Russian Federation, during President Vladimir Putin's state visit to Vietnam on June 20, towards the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the Russian Federation (1950-2025).
The Non La and Ao Dai performance by the Vietnam Contemporary Arts Theater dance troupe opened the opening art program of the Vietnam Cultural Days in Russia in 2024.
After the opening performance, artists from the Vietnam National Academy of Music, many of whom graduated from prestigious music schools in Russia, performed Russian classical music, as well as Vietnamese classical music composed in the Russian musical style. This helped the audience see the similarities and cultural exchanges between Vietnam and Russia.

The performance Hello Vietnam - My Fatherland Russia by the dance group of the Vietnam Contemporary Arts Theater closed the special art program on the opening night of the Vietnamese Cultural Days in the Russian Federation.
The art performances on the opening night of the Vietnamese Cultural Days in Russia received a very positive response and left a deep impression on the Russian audience about the image of Vietnam with its rich and unique cultural traditions but also many similarities with Russian culture.
