On the afternoon of September 11 in Hanoi , Samsung Vietnam held the Closing Ceremony of the Technology Talent Development Project - Samsung Innovation Campus for the 2024 - 2025 school year (SIC 2024 -2025).
Samsung Innovation Campus 2024-2025 was launched in November 2024 to develop high-tech capabilities for the young generation of Vietnam - who will lead the success of the Fourth Industrial Revolution in Vietnam in the future.
The project provides 3 courses to develop technology capacity for youth aged 12-22, including: Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data and 1 Basic Programming Skills Course (Coding & Programming - C&P). The courses are a combination of 2 forms of online training (E-Learning) and direct training to reach students in many provinces and regions across the country. Along with specialized knowledge, the project also provides career guidance and soft skills content to support and enhance learners' capacity throughout the program.
Up to now, after nearly 1 year of implementation, the SIC 2024 - 2025 project has been deployed in 69 schools including junior high schools, high schools and universities in 10/34 provinces and cities across the country and recorded positive results with nearly 7,000 students and teachers participating, nearly 40,626 hours of teaching in 249 classrooms along with 9,534 hours of E-learning completed.

Also within the framework of the project, the project coordination board organized the "Innovation Tech Challenge - 2025" Science and Technology Innovation Competition for SIC project students, in the form of the "Robot Cup - Soccer Robot" competition. This year's competition had the participation of 10 university teams and 15 high school teams from many provinces and cities across the country.
The teams researched and developed solutions to design and program two smart robot models, applying advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), image processing, sensors and automatic control. The robots were programmed to be able to move, coordinate tactics, and handle situations flexibly to perform direct competition tasks on the soccer simulation field.
The highlight of the competition is the competition of putting the ball into the net. Two teams must compete against each other, combining two robots to put the ball into the net fastest and score the most points. In particular, the team that scores 3 goals into 3 different nets and both robots score points will be the team that wins absolutely. The competition is divided into 2 groups: one for Universities and one for High Schools.

In the end, after dramatic competitions, with skillful skills and precise products, 2 teams including: DTU-TT team from Duy Tan University (Da Nang) and LQD-Pioneers team from Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted (Da Nang) became the Champion of the competition.
Notably, this is the third time Duy Tan University students have won the highest prize in the competition, as in 2023 and 2024, the school's students also won first prize.
Also at the event, Samsung awarded 98 scholarships to 98 best students of the SIC 2024 - 2025 program.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Bui Hoang Phuong emphasized that over the years, Samsung has shown its pioneering role in cooperating with universities and educational institutions at all levels in sponsoring scientific research activities, technology linkage projects, scholarship exchanges, organizing training courses, and innovation competitions. These initiatives not only directly support tens of thousands of students to access the technological environment and new technologies. Samsung has contributed to the formation of Vietnam's intellectual team, helping Vietnam's intellectual team confidently integrate internationally. This is a clear demonstration of the extremely close relationship between Samsung and Vietnam.

Deputy Minister Bui Hoang Phuong highly appreciated Samsung's efforts not only for the Ministry of Science and Technology but also for the entire education system, training facilities, and universities participating in this program. The Deputy Minister of Science and Technology also hopes that Samsung will maintain, promote, accelerate, and replicate this model in Vietnam in the coming time.
Also at the event, Mr. Na Ki Hong - General Director of Samsung Vietnam said: "Along with the active support policies from the Government and schools in nurturing IT talents, Samsung Vietnam is also making efforts to contribute to this goal. I hope that, with the spirit of not being afraid of challenges, you will fully grasp today's opportunities and pioneer in leading the future. Through the Samsung Innovation Campus program, Samsung Vietnam will continue to support Vietnamese youth so that they can firmly become future owners."

The Samsung Innovation Campus project was officially launched globally in 2019. This is one of Samsung's typical social responsibility programs and has expanded to 40 countries worldwide such as the US, Germany, Spain, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand...
In Vietnam, the program has also been implemented since 2019. To date, the project has expanded to about 140 schools and 18/34 provinces and cities nationwide, providing opportunities for training and developing high-tech capacity for nearly 20,000 students and teachers./.
