Attending the Congress, on behalf of Hanoi University of Business and Technology, there were Prof. Dr. Nguyen Cong Nghiep - Party Committee Secretary, Permanent Vice President, Vice Presidents: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ha Duc Tru, Prof. Dr. Dinh Van Tien and 125 party members representing 662 party members of 40 party cells. On behalf of HUBT socio-political organizations, there were representatives of the Trade Union Executive Committee, Youth Union, Student Association, Veterans Association, Young Party Member Club and press agencies attending and reporting on the program.
Speaking at the opening of the Congress, Comrade Nguyen Cong Nghiep - Party Committee Secretary, Permanent Vice President said: The 7th Party Congress of Hanoi University of Business and Technology was held in the jubilant atmosphere of the whole country celebrating the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South, the reunification of the country, the 135th birthday of the great President Ho Chi Minh, our University is preparing to celebrate the 30th anniversary of its founding. The Congress is an important political event, marking a new step in the development work of the Party Committee. With the motto "Promoting tradition, innovating and creating, building a clean and strong Party Committee. The Party Committee Secretary requested that delegates uphold the spirit of responsibility, promote democracy, collective intelligence, and actively participate in contributing to the success of the Congress.
The Congress focused on evaluating the implementation results of the Resolution of the 6th Congress for the 2020-2025 term, absorbing the instructions of the superior leaders and the opinions discussed at the Congress, on that basis, setting out the goals and leadership directions of the Party Committee of Hanoi University of Business and Technology for the 2025-2030 term.
Accordingly, HUBT Party Committee has 40 affiliated Party cells with 662 Party members, of which 424 Party members are teachers and staff (accounting for 1/3 of the total number of teachers and staff and workers in the whole school) and 238 Party members are students.
During the past term, the school's education quality has been gradually improved, and the scale and forms of training have been continuously expanded. The School Party Committee and the Board of Directors have focused on directing and orienting the improvement of human resource quality, with a focus on developing a team of cadres, lecturers and managers to meet the increasing requirements of education and training. Up to now, the whole school has over 1,200 permanent cadres, lecturers and staff, including: 79 Professors, Associate Professors, Corresponding Academicians; 105 Doctors of Science and PhDs; 690 Masters, the rest have university degrees. Identifying Party building as the key, having a decisive meaning for the school's success, the School Party Committee has seriously implemented the Party's directives, resolutions and conclusions. At the same time, it has developed an action program closely following the actual situation of the school. In the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee admitted 374 Party members, including 85 cadres and lecturers; 289 comrades were students. In 5 years, 5 Party training courses were organized with over 500 people, 5 political theory training courses for more than 400 new Party members.
During the 2025-2030 term, the School Party Committee strives to (1) Perfect the School development strategy, implement the training policy in the direction of: condensed theory, proficient practice; improve the School's management capacity. (2) Strengthen the application of digital technology, especially artificial intelligence in all aspects of the School's operations, associated with administrative institutional reform, innovation in school management and governance thinking, innovation in teaching and learning methods, testing and assessment; (3) Innovate and modernize training programs and methods, better meet the needs of high-quality human resources of the labor market and the diverse learning needs of learners in the new context.
In his speech directing the Congress, comrade Nguyen Vu Bich Hien - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the block acknowledged and highly appreciated the results achieved by the School Party Committee in the past term, at the same time pointed out the shortcomings and limitations and proposed key tasks that the Party Committee needs to carry out in the coming time.
In addition, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the bloc proposed that the Party Committee of Hanoi University of Business and Technology focus on implementing a number of key tasks such as: Persistently pursuing the policy of developing the University in a non-profit orientation, promoting the construction of a high-quality, modern, and integrated practical university model; In terms of expertise, it is necessary to continue to innovate the training program in the direction of integration, interdisciplinary, enhancing practical elements and entrepreneurial capacity; proactively updating new technologies in the curriculum, expanding links with domestic and foreign enterprises to improve the quality of internships, ensuring output and adaptability of students to the labor market in the context of digital transformation and international integration; Continuing to innovate leadership methods, improving the quality of Party cell activities, enhancing the fighting spirit and exemplary role of cadres and Party members; Promoting Party development work, especially among students, associated with education on ideals, revolutionary ethics, sense of responsibility and aspiration for dedication; Promote the effectiveness of the young party member club model, expand the forms of political activities suitable for young people and students; Strengthen the application of digital transformation in Party management, political and ideological education and in the leadership and management of the Party Committee; Pay attention to the planning, training and fostering of cadres, especially young cadres and female cadres; build a team of successors who are politically steadfast, professionally skilled, have innovative thinking and practical organizational capacity; With the tradition of solidarity, close leadership of the Party Committee, close coordination between organizations in the political system and the aspiration for sustainable development, the Party Committee of Hanoi University of Business and Technology will continue to rise strongly, excellently completing assigned political tasks, contributing to the successful implementation of the goal of fundamental and comprehensive innovation of education and training in the new period.

At the Congress, delegates listened to 06 presentations, mentioning key contents in the activities of the Party Committee and the School such as: Improving the quality of political and ideological work among lecturers and students, Paying attention to promoting the building of strong Party cells; Promoting Party building and developing Party members in the private university environment, Improving the quality of training to meet the needs of social human resources, work, and political and ideological education for Party members.
With the spirit of democracy and responsibility, the Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the School for the 7th term, consisting of 11 comrades: Prof. Dr. Nguyen Cong Nghiep, Mr. Tran Minh Hao, Mr. Nguyen Huu Chien, Mr. Tran Dinh Bich, Mr. Tran Huu Hanh, Mr. Nguyen Van Diep, Mr. Nguyen Thi Hue, Mr. Nguyen Thi Van Khanh, Mr. Hoang Lan Phuong, Mr. Tran Thi Hong Phuong, and Mr. Nguyen Dang Huy. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Cong Nghiep - Permanent Vice President continued to be elected as Secretary of the Party Committee of the School for the 2025-2030 term. The Congress also elected 7 official delegates to attend the 4th Congress of the Party Committee of Hanoi Universities and Colleges.

In his closing speech at the congress, comrade Prof. Dr. Nguyen Cong Nghiep - Secretary of the Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term said: The congress focused on discussing, contributing many additional opinions, assessing the implementation of the Resolution, reviewing the Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term, determining the direction and tasks for the 2025 - 2030 term;
The success of the Congress is the result of the efforts of the entire Party Committee of the school during the preparation and implementation of the Congress. The close and regular leadership and direction of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Hanoi Universities and Colleges and the Working Group No. 3 of the Party Committee of the Block. Especially the intellectual contributions and high sense of responsibility of the Party Cells and all Party members in the Party Committee of the school as well as the delegates attending the Congress.
With joy and excitement, the Congress called on all cadres, Party members and workers in the whole School to continue to promote tradition, innovate, be creative, build a clean and strong Party Committee, build our School to develop more and more, worthy of being a prestigious practice-oriented training institution in the whole country, make practical achievements to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the School's founding, contribute with the whole Party, the whole people and the whole army to enter a new era of development of the country - the era of the Vietnamese nation's rise./.
