Hanoi National University has just issued a decision to assign full-time university enrollment targets in 2025 to 12 member/affiliated schools with a total of 20,285 targets (an increase of 2,285 targets compared to last year).
Of which, the University of Technology was assigned the largest enrollment target with 3,900 (an increase of 940 targets); followed by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities with 2,650 targets (an increase of 350 targets); the University of Economics with 2,500 targets (an increase of 150 targets); and the University of Foreign Languages with 2,400 targets (an increase of 400 targets).
In addition, Hanoi National University also assigned 1,500 part-time students and 810 dual degree students to a number of training institutions.
Hanoi National University requires training units to develop plans to allocate enrollment quotas for majors/groups of majors/training programs in accordance with regulations and report to Hanoi National University before March 31.
Admission quotas of each member/affiliated school of Vietnam National University, Hanoi are as follows:
Last year, Hanoi National University enrolled 18,000 students for 150 majors/training programs.
The methods used by Hanoi National University for admission last year, direct admission, priority admission according to the admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the specific regulations and rules of Hanoi National University; admission based on the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam; admission based on the results of the competency assessment exam organized by Hanoi National University with a minimum score of 80/150 or higher.
In addition, candidates with the Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment test results of at least 750/1,200 points or higher will be considered.
Candidates with SAT standardized test results of at least 1,100/1,600 points or higher.
Candidates with ACT standardized test results of at least 22/36 points or higher.
Candidates with an IELTS English certificate of at least 5.5 points or equivalent international English certificates and a total score of the remaining 2 subjects in the admission group (including required math or literature) of at least 14 points in the high school graduation exam of the year of admission...
