Hanoi Medical University announced additional admission for the first time in many years.

For the first time in the past 10 years, Hanoi Medical University announced additional enrollment with 80 quotas for the Social Work major.

Social Work is a new major, starting to enroll students this year.

The school considers admission based on the results of the high school graduation exam. The admission combinations include A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry), B00 (Math, Chemistry, Biology), B08 (Math, Biology, English). The threshold for receiving application files is from 17 points.

Candidates wishing to enter the school must submit their applications directly from 8:00 a.m. on September 3 to 4:00 p.m. on September 12. The application includes a notarized copy of the high school graduation exam certificate and a copy of the foreign language certificate and national and international awards (if any).

This year, Hanoi Medical University will enroll more than 1,900 students through two methods: direct admission and high school graduation exam scores.

The school uses 5 admission groups, including B00 (Math, Chemistry, Biology), B08 (Math, Biology, English), C00 (Literature, History, Geography), D01 (Math, Literature, English), A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry). This is also the first time the school recruits the A00 group.

With the method of considering high school graduation exam scores, the school adds points for candidates with international language certificates equivalent to IELTS 5.5 or higher with a score of 1-2 points.

The benchmark score for Hanoi Medical University in 2025 is from 17 to 28.7, in which Psychology in the C00 group (Literature, History, Geography) is the highest with 28.7 points. Among the majors considered by the traditional B00 group, Medicine is the highest with 28.13 points. Three majors with 17 points include Preventive Medicine, Social Work, and Nursing at Thanh Hoa branch.

The school's new school year tuition fees are expected to range from 16.9 to 62.2 million VND.
