Dai-ichi Vietnam joins hands to support people to stabilize their lives after storms and floods in Thai Nguyen

On November 27, 2025, with the message "Connecting Millions of Loves" and spreading the spirit of "mutual love" to people in provinces and cities heavily affected by natural disasters, the "For a Beautiful Life" Fund of Dai-ichi Life Insurance Company Vietnam (Dai-ichi Life Vietnam) visited and presented 200 cash gifts, each worth 1 million VND, to 200 households that suffered heavy losses in the recent storm and flood in Gia Sang ward, Thai Nguyen province.

The program "Connecting Millions of Loves - Happiness for the community" is implemented by Dai-ichi Life Vietnam in Thai Nguyen .

This activity is part of the program "Connecting Millions of Love - Happiness for the community" implemented by Dai-ichi Life Vietnam with a total sponsorship of 3.8 billion VND, aiming to provide practical support, help people overcome the consequences of storms and floods and renovate facilities for schools after natural disasters in 17 provinces and cities in the North and Central regions, including: Cao Bang, Hung Yen, Thai Nguyen, Bac Ninh , Ninh Binh, Phu Tho, Tuyen Quang, Lang Son, Thanh Hoa, Quang Ngai, Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa and Lam Dong.

Mr. Tran Dinh Quan, Chairman of the Board of Members of Dai-ichi Life Vietnam, Chairman of the "For a Better Life" Fund, shared: "The human and property losses caused by natural disasters that people have to endure are irreparable. In difficult and unfortunate circumstances, the spirit of solidarity and "helping each other" is spreading more strongly in the community and society. Coming to Thai Nguyen, a locality that suffered heavy losses due to the recent historic flood, we respectfully present 200 practical support packages to join hands with people to overcome difficulties, quickly restore production, and soon stabilize life. We believe that, with the attention from agencies, departments, branches, localities, society and practical support from Dai-ichi Life Vietnam, the people of Thai Nguyen will be empowered to build a better life and a brighter future."

Previously, Dai-ichi Life Vietnam visited and presented 480 support packages, totaling VND 480 million, to 480 households in Cao Bang , Hung Yen and Bac Ninh provinces on November 21, 26 and 27, 2025. This meaningful program will continue to be implemented in other provinces and cities in the near future. In August and September 2025, Dai-ichi Life Vietnam supported more than VND 540 million to help people overcome the consequences of storm No. 10 in Dien Bien , Son La, Nghe An and Ha Tinh.

Along with effective business operations, Dai-ichi Life Vietnam always devotes much enthusiasm and fulfills its corporate social responsibility well. Through the “For a Beautiful Life” Fund, the Company has initiated many meaningful community support programs and initiatives, with a total contribution of more than VND 80 billion across four areas: education, health care, environment and social charity in over 18 years of establishment and development in Vietnam.

Dai-ichi Life Vietnam's "For a Beautiful Life" Fund donated 200 million VND to the Thai Nguyen Red Cross Society to help people overcome the consequences of storms and floods.

In the context of a challenging market, in the first 9 months of 2025, Dai-ichi Life Vietnam still achieved encouraging business results: total insurance premium revenue reached over VND 13,400 billion, new insurance premium revenue was over VND 2,170 billion, continuing to lead among foreign life insurance companies in Vietnam. Pre-tax profit reached over VND 1,690 billion, contributing to the State budget over VND 840 billion. Total insurance benefit payments were over VND 4,236 billion, bringing the total amount of insurance benefit payments to over VND 28,490 billion in the past nearly 18 years.

Total operating provisions are nearly VND 57,000 billion, up 17% over the same period last year. In 2025, Dai-ichi Life Vietnam will be the pioneering life insurance company to complete a new generation product portfolio, creating a solid foundation for the market's transformation period. At the same time, the Company strives to promote digital transformation, expand the Health Care & Happiness ecosystem to bring a more modern and friendly experience to customers.

With its meaningful contributions to the community, Dai-ichi Life Vietnam has just been honored with the title "Enterprise for the Community - Saigon Times CSR" for the 7th consecutive time (2019 - 2025) awarded by Saigon Economic Magazine; "UNESCO Cultural Enterprise 2025" awarded by the Japan Federation of UNESCO Associations and the Vietnam Federation of UNESCO Associations.
