Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh acknowledged and commended Dak Lak province for promptly implementing the Government's direction in responding to and supporting people to overcome the consequences of storm No. 13 and soon stabilize their lives.
On the afternoon of November 9, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh and the Government delegation had a working session with the People's Committee of Dak Lak province on the socio- economic development situation, promoting disbursement of public investment capital, promoting economic growth, ensuring social security; the implementation of two-level government and a number of key tasks and solutions in the coming time.
Reporting to the Deputy Prime Minister and the Government's working delegation, Vice Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee Truong Cong Thai said that since the beginning of the year, the province's socio-economic situation has generally continued to maintain growth momentum, with some indicators achieving good growth rates, exceeding the set scenario, especially the export target has been completed beyond the yearly plan.

Notably, GRDP growth in the first 9 months is estimated at 6.9%; total state budget revenue in the first 10 months is estimated at 13,996 billion VND, accumulated in 2025 is estimated at more than 15,500 billion VND.
Total social investment capital in the first 9 months of the year is estimated at 44,750 billion VND, accumulated for the whole year of 2025 is estimated at 62,974 billion VND, an increase of 7.6% compared to 2024.
Total export turnover in the first 10 months of the year is estimated at more than 2.6 billion USD, reaching 116.8% of the plan, up 42% over the same period in 2024.

By the end of October 2025, the disbursement of public investment capital in the whole province reached more than 6,155 billion VND, reaching 45.46% of the plan. Particularly, the development investment capital to implement national target programs has disbursed more than 683 billion VND, reaching 51.01% of the plan...
Policies and regimes to support people with meritorious services and poverty reduction work have been implemented synchronously, promptly and effectively; the quality of education, healthcare, cultural and spiritual life of the people have been improved.
The two-level local government apparatus operates smoothly. The effectiveness and efficiency of management and administration of the government apparatus at all levels have been significantly improved; administrative reform work has been focused on and implemented. However, in addition to the achieved results, the province still has some limitations and difficulties such as: GRDP growth rate in 2025 has not met the plan, especially in the construction sector and product tax minus product subsidies. Total social investment capital is estimated to not meet the plan. The progress of disbursement of public investment capital is still slow, the disbursement rate is lower than the national average.
Budget revenue has increased but is not sustainable, has not met the plan, and land revenue is low. The removal of obstacles in the process of implementing investment procedures for projects to create additional resources to achieve 8% growth is still slow, mainly related to compensation, site clearance and not in accordance with planning...

In particular, storm No. 13 caused more than 2,000 billion VND in damage to the province, greatly affecting the growth rate of the province. Currently, all levels, sectors, armed forces and the entire political system from the province to the grassroots are focusing on supporting and helping people overcome the consequences of storms and floods, stabilize their lives... Dak Lak province proposed that the Central Government pay attention and support about 200 billion VND to overcome the consequences of natural disasters caused by storm No. 13 in the area... and a number of other recommendations.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh acknowledged and commended Dak Lak province for promptly implementing the Government's direction in responding to and supporting people to overcome the consequences of storm No. 13 and soon stabilize their lives. He requested the province to fully and accurately count the damage caused by storm No. 13 and propose support measures to the Government.
The Deputy Prime Minister also suggested that the province should review the tasks and targets that have been set, strive to achieve higher targets, and strive to achieve and exceed targets that are close to being achieved. In particular, the province should focus on removing difficulties and obstacles in disbursing public investment capital, attracting investment and speeding up the implementation of key projects... to promote growth to reach 8% this year.

The province needs to focus on improving infrastructure, information technology, and arranging suitable staff so that the two-level government apparatus can operate smoothly and effectively. At the same time, speed up the adjustment of the provincial planning to promote investment attraction, promote economic and social development, and improve all aspects of people's lives...
Regarding the province's recommendations, the Deputy Prime Minister assigned ministries and branches to study, handle, resolve and remove difficulties for the province. Any recommendations beyond their authority will be reported to competent authorities for direction to resolve in a way that creates favorable conditions for Dak Lak province to exploit its potential and advantages to the fullest, promoting rapid and sustainable development.
