Accordingly, in the third and fourth quarters, the inspection team of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Dak Lak will conduct surprise inspections at working offices and on-site inspections of growing areas and fresh durian packaging facilities for export that have been granted and approved codes; facilities producing and trading durian products under the state management of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of the province.
The subjects of inspection are organizations and individuals who are the owners of codes for growing areas; establishments, organizations and individuals that package fresh durian for export approved and granted codes by the General Department of Customs of China; organizations and individuals that produce and trade durian products managed by the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.
The delegation will inspect the maintenance of conditions to meet China's import water demand; inspect the output of fresh durian in the 2024 crop year; authorize codes for export packaging facilities; and take samples to test for pesticide residues on fresh durian (if any).
For facilities, organizations and individuals packing fresh durian for export, compliance with the regulations of Vietnam and the importing country will be checked to maintain the code of the durian packing facility for export; check and trace the origin of the durian growing area code exported by the packing facility; take samples to check for residues and content of related substances on durian (if any).
