According to Mr. Tran The Quang, Chairman of Tam Thang Commune People's Committee, in implementing the goal of a model new-style rural commune in digital transformation, the commune has achieved many important results.

According to Mr. Quang, all the commune’s key, typical and OCOP products are put on the e-commerce platform. In the commune, 90% of villages and hamlets have a loudspeaker system that operates regularly.
More than 60% of production and business households in the commune use online payment services. In addition, the security camera system installed in residential areas and main roads of the commune and villages operates effectively.
Mr. Quang said: “Currently, most village cadres know how to apply digital platforms to carry out information and propaganda work. The commune effectively implements the model of applying information technology and digital transformation in one of the fields such as production, business, health, education , security and order, traffic safety...”.
In Dak Song, Dak Mil, Krong No districts, many farmers, entities, and cooperatives have effectively applied digital transformation to agricultural products participating in OCOP.

The digital transformation process also creates opportunities for cooperatives to apply technology, organize production, link along the value chain, and improve productivity, quality, and product value.
Many cooperatives build brand identity systems for their products, create QR codes, and create ViettelPay codes so that customers can buy products with cashless payments. Cooperatives also design logos, register trademarks, and build sales websites.

In 2024, Dak Nong completed 100% of the establishment of digital transformation teams at the commune and village levels. Specifically, 71/71 communes, wards and towns have established community technology teams; 713/713 village-level digital technology teams with 4,078 members who are self-management board officials and mass organizations. In the whole province, 8/8 districts and cities in the area have deployed the posting of administrative procedures using QR codes...
Up to now, Dak Nong has 45/60 communes meeting NTM standards, of which 9 communes have met advanced NTM standards and 2 communes have met model NTM standards, exceeding the 5-year plan assigned by the Central Government.
At the district level, Gia Nghia City has been recognized by the Prime Minister for completing the task of building a new rural area by 2020; the remaining districts such as Dak R'lap, Cu Jut and Dak Mil have 100% of their communes meeting the new rural standards and basically completing the criteria for a new rural district.
According to Mr. Ngo Xuan Dong, Deputy Director of Dak Nong Department of Agriculture and Environment, the province currently has only one village meeting smart NTM standards.
Therefore, communes that have achieved advanced NTM standards and model NTM standards need to consider themselves as the locomotives in digital transformation, digital governance and rural digital economic development.

Smart rural development will contribute to changing the face of the province's countryside. The socio-economic infrastructure is increasingly improved, people's lives are increasingly improved. From there, the gap between rural and urban areas is gradually narrowed, security and order are ensured.
