Comrade Ton Thi Ngoc Hanh, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee; leaders of departments, branches, units, localities and a large number of union members, youth and volunteer soldiers attended.
With the theme "Dak Nong Youth is proud and confident in following the Party", the summer activities and the 2025 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign will take place from June 2 to August 31, 2025 on a large scale in communes, wards and towns across the province.
Key activities include "Supporting the exam season" and four main volunteer campaigns: Hoa Phuong Do, Hanh Quan Xanh, Mua He Xanh and Ky Nghi Hong. The campaign is expected to attract more than 5,000 local youth union members and 500 volunteers from universities and colleges in Ho Chi Minh City.
Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Ton Thi Ngoc Hanh, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that after 21 years of implementation in Dak Nong, the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign has affirmed the role of the Youth Union, Association and Team in gathering young people to participate in socio -economic development and community life.
Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Ton Thi Ngoc Hanh suggested that the organization continue to implement summer activities and the Dak Nong Province Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign in 2025 in an effective and creative manner, closely following the policy of "3 links" between forces, localities and communities; focusing on on-site activities, prioritizing remote, isolated and disadvantaged areas.
Each volunteer activity needs to aim for depth, high intellectual content and clear social values, so that each member and youth, when coming to the people, will be loved by the people, when staying, the people will love them, when working, the people will trust them and when leaving, the people will remember them.
In the context of the province implementing a two-level local government model, Party committees, authorities, youth organizations and commune-level authorities proactively coordinate, orient and support young union members, especially university and college students, to organize creative, practical and suitable volunteer activities for the characteristics of each locality.
Through these activities, we both promote the youth's strength and create positive highlights, contributing to affirming the effectiveness of the new government apparatus in real life.
At the program, the Organizing Committee presented 85 gifts and 150 scholarships worth 1 million VND each to disadvantaged children in Dak R'lap and Cu Jut districts; presented 6 gratitude houses, 2,000 seedlings, livelihood trees, health insurance cards and other gifts and community works to children and disadvantaged people in the province.
The total mobilized resources to support localities in summer activities and the Dak Nong Province Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign in 2025 is more than 2 billion VND.
Of which, Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Group supported 380 million VND; Vietnam National Petroleum Group supported 100 million VND; Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade supported 150 million VND; the cost of building 6 charity houses was 360 million VND; Dak Nong Aluminum Company supported 85 million VND; universities and colleges in Ho Chi Minh City supported more than 1 billion VND...
Immediately after the ceremony, units and Youth Union members simultaneously launched specific projects and tasks such as: inaugurating the project "Lighting up the countryside", organizing propaganda to prevent injuries and drowning accidents for children and implementing activities to respond to the construction of new rural areas, eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses throughout the province.
