Telecommunications infrastructure in eastern Dak Lak damaged after storm No. 13

In order to ensure smooth communication, the Department of Science and Technology of Dak Lak province requested the People's Committees of communes and wards to strengthen propaganda and mobilize people to be careful when cleaning up after the storm, avoid breaking or damaging information cables and telecommunication cables. At the same time, localities need to closely coordinate with telecommunication units (VNPT, Viettel, FPT, Mobifone ...) to promptly detect and handle locations of fallen, broken or unsafe cables. The Department also encourages communes and wards to widely announce on loudspeaker systems, bulletin boards, and social networking groups to raise people's awareness of protecting information infrastructure. When detecting an incident, it is necessary to immediately notify the telecommunication unit or local authorities for timely support and handling.
