At the Memorial House, delegates offered fresh flowers and incense sticks to express their respect to the souls of patriots Nguyen Thai Hoc, Pho Duc Chinh, Nguyen Khac Nhu and the soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the Yen Bai Uprising.

93 years ago, the armed uprising organized and led by the Vietnam Nationalist Party took place in Yen Bai, opening the way for a series of anti-French activities in many localities in the North of our country. Due to many reasons, the uprising was unsuccessful, and patriot Nguyen Thai Hoc and his colleagues were captured by the French. On June 17, 1930, 13 patriots in the Yen Bai uprising, including patriot Nguyen Thai Hoc, heroically sacrificed themselves, but the indomitable spirit of him and his colleagues against foreign invaders is still remembered with the famous saying "If not successful, then become a man".

The Yen Bai Uprising highlighted revolutionary heroism, adding a golden page to the history of our nation's heroic struggle against colonialism. The historical significance of the Yen Bai Uprising had a profound impact on the liberation movement of enslaved and oppressed peoples nationwide and resonated around the world , contributing greatly to encouraging the patriotism and revolutionary movement of our people./.
