Deputy Prime Minister , Minister Bui Thanh Son, Secretary of the Ministry's Party Committee chaired and delivered a speech directing the Conference. Attending the Conference were leaders of the Ministry, members of the Standing Committee, members of the Ministry's Party Committee Executive Committee. Representatives of Steering Group No. 6 of the Government Party Committee were comrades Nguyen Thanh Nam and Vo Thanh Nam.
The third meeting of the Party Executive Committee aims to discuss, review, vote and approve: The personnel plan for the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary and Inspection Committee of the Party Committee of the Ministry for the 2025-2030 term; The personnel plan for the delegation of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to attend the Government Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term; Draft documents to be submitted to the 29th Congress of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the 2025-2030 term.
Speaking at the Conference, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son emphasized: “According to the instructions of the Central Committee and the Government Party Committee, the Party Congresses at all levels will carry out 4 contents. However, the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is a party committee that is 'merged, consolidated, newly established according to the policies, resolutions, and conclusions of the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, and the Secretariat of the 12th tenure on the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus of agencies and units in the political system', so the content of the election of the new Party Committee and the election of the delegation to attend the congress at a higher level will be carried out according to the personnel appointment process".

Implementing Directive 45-CT/TW dated April 14, 2025 of the Politburo on Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress, Plan 07-KH/DU dated April 29, 2025 of the Government Party Committee on organizing Party Congresses at all levels towards the 1st Government Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term, the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs determined that the personnel work of the Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term is a very important task of the Party Congress, a key step in the Party building work of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the 2025-2030 term, especially in the new period. The Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs directly and comprehensively leads the foreign political tasks and Party building work of the Party Committee. The personnel work of the Party Congress must ensure the direct and comprehensive leadership of the Party Committee; strictly and correctly implement Party regulations and State laws; ensure strictness, democracy, impartiality, objectivity, transparency; ensure high solidarity and unity.
The Party Committee of the Ministry soon decided to establish a Personnel Subcommittee to help the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee prepare draft Personnel Projects for the Party Congress. During the process of developing draft Personnel Projects, the Personnel Subcommittee regularly reported to the Party Committee Standing Committee and discussed and asked for opinions from Steering Group 6 of the Government Party Committee for completion.
After appraising the draft Project, the Steering Committee for the Congress of Party Committees under the Government Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term No. 6 assessed: "The Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has seriously developed the draft of the Personnel Projects for the Congress for the 2025-2030 term in a systematic, detailed, and scientific manner; ensuring the conditions, standards, structure, quantity, and closely following the plans and instructions of the Central Committee".

At the Conference, delegates discussed, exchanged, reviewed and voted to approve the Personnel Projects as a basis for implementing the next steps in the personnel appointment process.
Regarding the documents submitted to the Congress, delegates assessed that the draft documents were seriously implemented, fully absorbed comments and voted to approve the draft documents submitted to the 29th Congress of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, term 2025-2030.

Concluding the Conference, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry Nguyen Manh Cuong emphasized that after the third Party Executive Committee Conference, the Personnel Subcommittee will deploy specific personnel work. In order, the Executive Committee will hold a Conference to approve the specific personnel list before submitting it to the Government Party Committee for approval and request the Subcommittees and units to continue to promote their roles, focus on building content to prepare for the successful organization of the 29th Congress of Delegates of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, term 2025 - 2030.
