( Bqp.vn ) - On the morning of October 9, in Hanoi, the Party Committee of the General Staff (GGS) - Ministry of National Defense held a conference to quickly announce the results of the 10th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee. Senior Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, Secretary of the GGS Party Committee - Ministry of National Defense attended and directed the conference.

Attending the conference were Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Viet Thong, former Deputy Head of the Central Ideology Committee, former General Secretary of the Central Theoretical Council; Major General Nguyen Ngoc Doan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Military Commission - Ministry of National Defense, Political Director of the Central Military Commission. Attending the conference were representatives of the Propaganda Department (General Department of Politics); representatives of leaders and commanders of the focal points under the Central Military Commission in the Northern region; representatives of leaders and commanders of Departments, Offices and equivalent units of the Central Military Commission.

The conference aims to disseminate and thoroughly understand to key cadres of agencies and units the basic contents of the results of the 10th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee, unify ideological awareness and action; clarify the meaning and special importance of this Central Conference. Thereby, continue to strengthen the firm belief in the Party's leadership; enhance the sense of responsibility of Party committees and commanders at all levels in organizing the study, thorough understanding and effective implementation of the resolution in agencies and units.

At the conference, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Viet Thong informed the delegates of the results of the 10th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee, taking place from September 18 to 20, 2024 in Hanoi, under the chairmanship of General Secretary and President To Lam. With a spirit of urgency, concentration and determination, the conference discussed and gave opinions on important contents such as: Draft Political Report to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress; Summary of a number of theoretical and practical issues on the socialist-oriented renovation process over the past 40 years in Vietnam; Draft Report on 5 years of implementing the 10-year Socio-Economic Development Strategy 2021 - 2030, directions and tasks for socio-economic development in the 5-year period 2026 - 2030; Draft Report on the assessment of the implementation of the 2024 Socio-Economic Development Plan, the projected 2025 Socio-Economic Development Plan and some other important contents...
