Over the past time, the Regional Party Committee, Party Committees and commanders of agencies and units have thoroughly grasped and comprehensively and seriously implemented Resolution No. 18, achieving many positive results. 100% of officers and soldiers have had correct awareness and strictly complied with the policies and decisions on assignment and mobilization of Party Committees and commanders at all levels.

Based on the decision of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, the unit merged 7 agencies into 4 agencies; established 3 new organizations; dissolved 1 organization. After the adjustment, the organization and staff of the Region were gradually improved, the forces and means developed comprehensively; the overall quality and combat readiness were significantly improved.

Along with that, the Party Committee and the Regional Command have thoroughly grasped and seriously implemented the resolutions, conclusions and plans of the Politburo, the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense and the Party Committee of the Vietnam Coast Guard on organizing the People's Army and Coast Guard forces in the new situation.

Thereby, contributing to enhancing combat strength, ensuring the good fulfillment of its function as a core, specialized force in protecting national sovereignty , sovereign rights, jurisdiction and enforcing the law in assigned sea areas and islands...

Concluding the conference, Colonel Le Van Tu requested Party committees and commanders at all levels to continue to strengthen leadership and direction in the work of arranging and perfecting the organizational apparatus; step up propaganda, education , and thoroughly grasp the viewpoints and guidelines of the Party, the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, and the Vietnam Coast Guard Party Committee.
