Defeating Vietnam, Thailand won all titles in Southeast Asian tournament

The Thai U19 women's team defeated host Vietnam to win the 2025 Southeast Asian U19 Women's Championship and won all three individual titles.

On the evening of June 18, the Thai U19 women's team won the 2025 Southeast Asian U19 Women's Championship after defeating the Vietnamese U19 women's team 3-1 in the final match held at Thong Nhat Stadium.

This is Thailand's third championship at the tournament. As for Vietnam, this is the fourth consecutive final defeat, including three defeats to Thailand.

Not only did the Thai U19 women's team win the championship in Vietnam, they also won three individual titles.

With one goal scored in the final match, Kurisara Limpawanich won the title of "Top scorer" with 6 goals. Previously, Kurisara and captain Luu Hoang Van of the Vietnam U19 women's team both had 5 goals.

In addition, Kurisara Limpawanich also won the title of "Best Player" thanks to his excellent performance not only in the final match but also throughout the tournament.

Atima Boonprakanpai won the "Best Goalkeeper" title despite conceding 1 goal against Vietnam U19 women's team. In the whole tournament, Atima conceded 4 goals in 5 matches.

Previously, goalkeeper Le Thi Thu was a strong candidate when she did not concede any goals from the group stage to the semi-finals. However, conceding 3 goals against Thailand U19 women in the final match forced Le Thi Thu to watch Atima Boonprakanpai win the title.
