
In her welcoming remarks, Dr. Thach Thi Dan, Vice Rector of Tra Vinh University, stated that the competition encourages high school students to research, innovate, and apply science to life; it also creates an academic playground for learning, exchanging professional knowledge and scientific research experience among students and teachers from high schools inside and outside the province and lecturers of Tra Vinh University in research, supporting career guidance for students. Through this, it helps students choose suitable professions for their future.

In the final round, 131 ideas from 271 students from 60 high schools in the provinces of Vinh Long, An Giang, Tay Ninh, Ho Chi Minh City, and Can Tho City competed.
The competition entries were in four fields: Chemistry - Environmental Materials; Agriculture - Fisheries; Engineering Technology; and Health Sciences. The organizing committee held an on-site evaluation at Tra Vinh University to select the winning entries.
At the end of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 First Prize for the entire category; 4 First Prizes, 4 Second Prizes, 4 Third Prizes, and 26 Consolation Prizes to ideas in various fields. Notably, the first, second, and third prize-winning ideas will receive experimental support from Tra Vinh University to participate in the provincial and national science and technology competitions in the 2025-2026 academic year.

In addition, students who win first, second, and third prizes and are students of Tra Vinh University will receive up to 15 million VND in support from the university to implement their research projects. The idea "Research on developing green technology for producing Amine-Aloe bio-fertilizer from fig fruit extract, soybean pulp, and aloe vera, and evaluating its effectiveness on stevia plants" by authors Ho Hoang Long and Nguyen Minh Trieu, students of Nguyen Dinh Chieu High School (Phu Tan ward), excellently won first prize overall.
